If your child’s 3rd Birthday is between 1st April 2018 and 31st August 2018 they are eligible for 15 hours universal funding for 38 weeks of the year. Children of parents who work the equivalent of 16 hours at minimum wage or more may also be eligible for an additional 15 hours funding. If this applies to your child and you haven’t yet visited www.childcarechioces.gov.uk to check what you are eligible for please do so ASAP. If you are eligible for 30 hours funding you will need to have received your code before 31st August in order to claim for the Autumn term. If you have any further questions please contact Leanne.

Chicken Pox
Dear Parents 5th February 2018
... One of the children in our Toddler room has recently come down with chicken pox.
Signs and symptoms
Days 1-6:- Slight fever, itchy, irritating spots that become blistery appearing on the chest and abdomen first then later everywhere else.
Days 5-9:- The spots burst leaving craters then scabs form and drop off after a few days
Day 10:- Your child should be back to normal.
Chickenpox is contagious until all the blisters have scabbed over, which usually happens about five or six days after the rash appeared. The illness is usually mild and clears up in a week or so, but it can be dangerous for some people, such as pregnant women, newborn babies and people with a weakened immune system. If you are in the early stages of pregnancy you may want to contact your midwife and discuss this with her.
Please exclude your child from nursery until spots have all scabbed over.
Thank you for your continued support.
The Toddlers Inn team.

Are you eligible for Tax free childcare? Tax Free Childcare was introduced in April 2017. Parents are able to set up an online account where they can bank payments for childcare. For each £8 a parent pays in, the Government will add an additional £2 up to a maximum of £2,000 per year per child. Families of disabled children receive help with their childcare costs to a maximum of £4,000 per year. Tax Free Childcare is being rolled out gradually and will eventually cover all families with children under 12, if they meet the required work and income criteria. There will be an upper income limit per parent of £100,000 to qualify, and a minimum weekly income level per parent equivalent to 16 hours worked at the National Living Wage. Please visit www.childcarechoices.gov.uk

The school leavers 2017 photo session will be held on Thursday 29th June, if your child doesn't normally attend nursery on this day but you would like them to have thier picture taken please could you arrive at the nursery for 9am, we will then do a group shot and individual photos for those children first. Please do let your key person now if you are going to attend, and on the day if for any reason you can't make it please call the nursery and let us know, as it can really hold things up if we are waiting for children to arrive.

It's looking like the nice weather is set to continue tomorrow, please, please remember to bring some sun cream and a sun hat for your child, preferably that we can label and keep for the rest of the season!

User

Could we please remind parents of children who attend for afternoon sessions that you must not arrive at the nursery before 1pm. We are actually running at capacity in most of our rooms every morning and cannot accept afternoon children until some of our morning children have gone home as this makes us over our staff/child ratios. Please help us in maintaining a safe and happy environment for all our children by sticking to your agreed session times. Thank you for your continued support.

Toddlers Inn truly is a great place. The staff are kind, helpful, caring, loving and genuine. My eldest went there and my son goes there. Management are understanding, approachable and happy to help in any way they can. I would not consider any other nursery for my children and would thoroughly recommend this one.
