Tollerton Caravan Park

4 1/2 stars from me. Small site so only a small kids swing park. But a nice wee site, well kitted out caravan and clean and tidy. Really good price for October break too. Handy location for York or Flamingo land.

Quite a nice caravan. Thought it was a little grubby and worn for its age. Well spaced from other caravans. The site was easy to get to but was noisy. Nothing within the owners control. It's right next to the main high speed railway line with very frequent trains. There is also an airfield near by an old prop-plane was frequently practicing overhead. Close to York and easy access to local shops and a retail park on the edge of York

Fantastic place, friendly staff, peaceful and relaxing. Accommadation was roomy and comfortable. Would highly recommend. Due to other circumstances we had to leave 2 days early, Shame really,

Quiet site, clean and comfy caravan and a nice little fishing lake on site. Absolutely no problems, we enjoyed our stay.

Booked a supposed to be lodge for a week and it certainly was not one. In fact it was a very basic largish caravan the only difference was it had an ensuite, very disappointed
The lodge was only clean where you could first of all see, but handles on cupboards, crockery, glasses etc were filthy and considering it had a dishwasher there is no excuse for this
Too small a tv in the lounge and uncomfortable beds with the mattresses not the size of bases
No onsite shop or restaurant meaning trip out for food and shopping
Sorry but will not stay here again

A nice family friendly site with decent accomodation. In a quaint location but only a stone throw from the city of York and other tourist attractions. Yes it is right by the main London to Edinburgh train line, but you soon get used to it and it's not like there isn't any warning of this on the Hoseasons site. Would definitely stay again.

This is the worst holiday my wife and I have ever had. I have written to Hoseasons to make a formal complaint. The accommodation was very poor. The bed was rock hard and the bedding was awful. The shower flooded the bathroom. The Lodge was old and very cold - we had to have the gas fire on nearly all the time. You are warned that a main railway line is on the edge of the park - it was very intrusive.
