Your main duties will include:
💚 Ordering and managing stock... 💚 Preparing ingredients 💚 Creating dishes for specials 💚 Cooking & serving food in line with our high standards 💚 Maintaining our excellent food hygiene rating

Last week, Joe asked our 2 resident cocktail experts to come up with the perfect mix. What's the Catch? Must-use ingredients included gooseberries and our favourite local tipple, Hepple Gin.

We won an overnight stay and evening meal at catch, the room was lovely and cosy! The restaurant was brilliant so much choice and the chips were amazing �, can’t wait to come back! The staff we’re all great too

We had a lovely stay at Catch Ponteland last Thursday. Glorious sunshine, so we could sit outside & enjoy a glass of wine. Beautiful room with lovely decor to relax in. As a non meat eater I was in my element with the food. We loved the whole experience & to think we only found you through the power of Facebook!

Took my Husband here for father's Day lunch and it was amazing...great service, lovely staff.. can't fault it at all. Also stayed here I'm may for my mams 70th and the rooms are just �perfect! Can honestly say we will be back as regulars �

Stumbled over this place looking for somewhere to eat with the Mrs on a Easter bank holiday sunday lunch time. They squeezed us in and am pleased they did as everything was spot on , food , table service ! Will definitely be back and definitly recommending it to friends and family !

Stayed sunday night and got a free up grade on our room. Staff very friendly lovely service made us so welcome. Food and drink were amazing defo be going back xx

Lovely little boutique hotel. Room was gorgeous. Had the one from the site and could not fault it. Bath was fabulous such a treat.

Had lunch, dinner and breakfast and all was great. Lots of fish as you would expect on the menu but were happy to make you something else if not on the menu.

Staff great and very accommodating. Definitely recommend it.

I had the tia red fish curry, beautiful, my husband had the seafood grill, he said it was Perfection

The serving staff were splendid and helpful.

Like the decor in the restaurant and the toilet decor was fun, loved the taps...simple!

Had read about this on Facebook and went yesterday for lunch . The menu was extensive and gave a great variety of fish dishes . Lovely ambience and really friendly and attentive staff . Only problem was I was driving and couldn’t enjoy a nice glass of wine with my smoked mackerel parfait or sea bass !! Well recommended !

Had an amazing meal here tonight... we had oysters and champagne... scallops ... seafood platter and puddings and wine and it was just faultless... the frangipane tart was just phenomenal! Freshly caught fish ... fabulous staff and just a lovely ambience! Xx

Had a fantastic evening here with the hubby last night.We booked a table on line and when we arrived decided to sit in the bar and sample the cocktail list first. Cocktails were fantastic and we ended up sitting to a local guy called Bill by which point we missed the time we’d booked the table and I’d made my way half way through the cocktail list. We eventually went through when we were ready and the staff were more than obliging. The prawn starter was to die for and the lobster thermadore was just amazing. From start to finish we had a fantastic evening- great team of staff and a big thumbs up to the chefs behind the scenes. We will definitely be back.

Came here on a friday night to with the family. Somebody must have overheard that I was celebrating my birthday and when we walked through to the table there was a small 'Catch' card signed by Joe - a lovely touch that started us off on a great night!



All of the waiters and waitresses were friendly, helpful, and very quick to serve! The food was incredible with everybody thoroughly enjoying their meals. The lager on draught was perfect and I've been told the wine was great too!



The tables may have been a little short for somebody at 6'5...but an amazing experience and we'll definitely be back!

Belated birthday meal out with Mrs C, the food was superb. Quite possibly the best meal we’ve ever had out. Staff were great, our wines were fab (the Malbec was perfect with my surf and turf)

Not cheap but worth every penny.

Me and my partner ate here lasnite I ordered the king scallops starter and the seared Halibut with shellfish linguine for main and was really nice, however have had to take the day off work today as I was ill through the night with stomach pains and vomiting so don't think I will return as was the only thing I had eaten that day, i would think twice before eating here.

I like the catch and regularly get takeaway fish and chips. But lately the portion sizes seem to be getting smaller. Other than that I really like the place

We booked Catch for our sons 1st birthday. My husband and I had been before and we have raved about it ever since, the last time we went the catch platter was amazing, worth every penny.

When we arrived we were shown to our table in the bar as there was 10 of us eating.

The starters were lovely, most of us had scallops which were beautiful. As we had sampled the platter the last time and the amount of fish was enough for two, my husband and I decided to share. The fish this time was different, which is too be expected but the quality and the amount of fish yesterday compared to last time was pretty poor.

One of our party had sword fish which was so poor we didn’t end up paying for it as he couldn’t eat it. The rest of the meals were good and I can highly recommend the scampi which looked lovely.



We were sitting in the bar area which wasn’t particularly busy and I can’t comment about the restaurant as we couldn’t see, but at one point we had so many empty glasses on our table we could hardly get our dessert plates on, so we had to ask them to be cleared, one guy took two glasses then didn’t cone back, so we had to ask again.



The staff are lovely really helpful and friendly can’t fault them at all.
