Unless stated otherwise, all our sessions take place in the Community Cube, 4th Floor, Southbank Centre, Belvedere Road, SE1 8XX

Sessions are COMPLETELY FREE to attend, but we do ask that Warriors try to commit to attending on a regular weekly basis. Sign up for a trial session, and get yourself registered as a Warrior to guarantee a place. For more information please contact communications@tomorrowswarriors.org

ADVANCED YOUTH DEVELOPMENT SESSION – Sundays 12. 30-2. 30pm

All sessions focus on developing your technical proficiency, building your knowledge of jazz history and repertoire, and increasing your confidence and skills as an ensemble performer. Our sessions follow a unique ‘Way of the Warrior’ which puts improvisation, listening and interaction at the core of the learning experience. We also run an active Performance Programme, comprising several Frontline Ensembles such as the Junior Band, the Youth Ensemble and the Tomorrow’s Warriors Youth Orchestra, and made up of Warriors who attend our practice sessions on a regular and consistent basis.

Our Emerging Artist Development Programme provides opportunities for older, more experienced musicians aged 19-25 (and above! ), and include regular sessions during the week, as well as:
Masterclasses with experienced jazz musicians
Jam sessions and public performances
Collaboration projects with artists from other art forms

*** NEW VINTAGE WARRIORS SESSION ***
We will be launching our new weekly mid-week session for older, lapsed and more seasoned musicians who want to learn the foundations of jazz improvisation, play alongside other musicians and build their skills as ensemble performers. If you’re aged 45(ish) or above, have some experience of playing an instrument and would like the chance to work with TW artistic director Gary Crosby, then please email us on the above address to find out more!

The passing of Debbie Dickinson is a huge loss to jazz. She did so much for young jazz musicians, especially for women in jazz. Through her many talents as producer, sound engineer, tour manager, promoter and educator, she touched so many people in jazz and beyond. We mourn the loss of a good friend.
