Tonga High Commission/Embassy In London

The Tonga High Commission was established in 1970 and is home to the Kingdom of Tonga’s first overseas full diplomatic mission. The mission was established when Tonga was no longer a British Protectorate and had become a member of the Commonwealth. The Government of Tonga purchased the High Commissioner’s residence (Greenbanks) in 1970 and its Chancery in 1993.
