Thank you for providing an excellent service when we needed recovery in Polkerris

My wife and I went to Par Beach with our old camper van.When we went to leave it wouldn;t start.Tonkins turned up ,Peter I believe and with his help he managed to get us going and home to a garage. Great help.lovely chap and did his Company proud. Thankyou to Peter.

Recovery requested via RAC at 1.pm breakdown still not arrived at 2.30pm and police insisted vehicle moved due to dangerous main A30 60 mph road, cost me £150

Broke down in Hayle at 9pm.
Recovery vehicle arrived 11pm.
Diagnosis within 15 minutes.
Needed recovery and took us to our campsite.
Next morning came back to us to recover us to a local garage.

Excellent service from from the two guys who recovered us.

Unbelievably slow to respond to my wife who had broken down! Over 3 hours wait with our 2 year old in the car. Completely disgusting!!

Fantastic service from a lovely chap who came out to our Motorhome last Wednesday night. Having arrived back at our van after a day out to be greeted by a horrendous smell we decided to call out a mechanic as we were really worried about there being a fire hazard. It was gone 10pm when he arrived but he promptly diagnosed our ruined battery. He then disconnected it and removed it - saving us the hassle of having to do so ourselves. He also gave us some sound advice about how to deal with the dealership we bought it from and helped us take photos (as the van is still under warranty ) . He was with us for a good 40 mins outside in the wind and rain but was so kind and cheerful throughout. Fantastic service! This chap is a credit to the organisation.

I broke down last night. The girl on the phone was so lovely and so helpful. Both the recovery drivers were excellent. I would recommend Tonkin to any of my friends and can't thank them enough.

We are on holiday in Penzance, my husband is disabled and we had a puncture in our motability vehicle and we were very fortunate to have Ash looking after us. He's new to the company but an absolute credit to them. He was so kind and helpful , especially when you don't know where you are or where anything is. Nothing was too much trouble for him so he comes highly recommended.

my trike broke down on the " jennings" run on sunday the 11th of september, in a very awkward place. and i would like to thank all the people i.e.: the police, the R.A.C. and "Tonkin Recovery" especially David the truck driver who finally got me home, many thanks to all concerned len roper

We broke down in our Autosleeper camper van at Easter whilst down in Cornwall and 400 miles from our home in Cumbria.
Caravan Club Mayday (GreenFlag) Rescue sent Tonkin Recovery who were with us promptly despite being in a remote location.
Their mechanic Jamie diagnosed the issue which could not be repaired at the roadside and liaised with their control centre who sent a flatbed to recover our vehicle and provided a courtesy car so we could continue our holiday and get back up to Cumbria with our 4 dogs.
Our vehicle was recovered all the way back up to our local garage in Cumbria for repair yesterday.
Throughout we were kept well informed by text message and telephone on the progress of mechanics to help us and the whereabout of our Camper after we had left the area. Everyone we dealt with was polite professional and friendly especially our roadside mechanic Jamie and the recovery driver Karl who had the long trip up to Cumbria.
In all a 5 star experience worth breaking down for.....!!!!
