Toolstation Rotherham

Awful service. Called here for a set of replacement screws for a flat-packed item I was building - the original screws were the incorrect diameter, so I took a piece with me and asked if they could use the threaded hole to match it up to. After queueing for a good 5-10 minutes, I explained what I needed and was given an 'i doubt it' look, a few sighs, and some random button pushing on a keyboard, and then told they have six pages of screws - if I didn't know which one I wanted in advance, they couldn't help.
I thought I was being petty at first by thinking this was bad service, until I went to screwfix round the corner with the same dilemma and the assistant there couldn't do enough to help. She looked at at least 4 different diameters and lengths, and made sure I had the right ones. For the sake of a couple of quidsworth of screws, this shop has lost a customer for life - you can't have a 'cant be bothered' attitude AND want people's money, too, unless you are selling something you simply cannot get elsewhere - and as a company, they are not very unique.

First visit, moderately busy and they quickly opened up the spare till to serve. Friendly and efficient service.

Never had any trouble with toolstation in Rotherham.Just the same as anywhere else.Seems some people want thier arses kissing as well.Did you get your stuff you wanted.If so job done.

Very slow service, ignorant staff will not sell to you without giving personal details like post code. They also seem to be clueless about the products they are selling.
