Just a little awareness post, hopefully this doesn't affect anyone's dog but just in case...

WARNING ⚠️ I’d like to share this post as a warning to all dog owners in the St Bees area, or those that take their dogs to St Bees. The pictures attached show a substance called palm oil, it’s EXTREMELY damaging and dangerous to dogs. Leo is one of my clients, he’s a 12yr old Staffy that was out with his owners at the beach yesterday, and ingested only a tiny amount of palm oil. He had to be taken to the vets last night as is currently on a drip and taking medication to protect his liver. He was unable to stand up, and was having what looked like little seizures.
PLEASE be careful. If you can, avoid the beach altogether, or keep your dogs on a lead so that you can easily avoid this stuff.

It's with a heavy heart that I write this post. Sadly today we had to say goodbye to one of our own. Jessi you will be very sorely missed, you were a dog with a big character and you'll be missed by all of us. I'd like to ask the TopDogs community to keep Jessi's family in their prayers, there's little that can make the grieving process any easier - but our dogs are always there to give us support when we need it most. We offer our support now ❤️
