Happy Easter to all our lovely customers! On Tuesday we are reopening (albeit with some restrictions). Our workshop will be fully operational but our showrooms will be closed for browsing and the door will be closed. We will be more than happy to serve all of you with anything you need. Please observe social distancing rules while waiting outside. Payments are to be contactless where possible please. Opening times will be 9-4 and as usual we close Thursdays, Sundays and bank holidays.

COVID-19 UPDATE This has been a very difficult decision! We are closing today at 2pm. We will remain closed for 2 weeks, then re-assess the situation. If you have a bike to collect please call the shop on 01229 824740. After 2pm calls cannot be answered. Please all take care of yourselves and STAY AT HOME! If you choose cycling as your daily exercise please do so either alone or with other members of your household. Also, take it easy, this is not a time for risk-taking, record-breaking or Strava trophy-hunting! Best regards from all at Topmark Cycles.

UPDATE As you may well know, the government have decided that cycle shops are "essential retail" so we have decided to remain open so we can continue to keep you all rolling. However, we have implemented the following... Our temporary opening hours are 9.00 - 4.00 Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri & Sat The door will be locked.... No more than 1 customer at a time may enter the premises and should stay behind the taped-off area. The showroom will be closed for browsing in order to stop anyone handling goods unnecessarily. If you would like to purchase anything, we will get it for you. All payments are to be contactless. No cash if at all possible! The workshop is fully operational and we are still taking bookings. Bikes will be sanitised by us both on drop off and collection. Please pay by card, over the phone before collection. If you can't get out of the house or are vulnerable we are offering a free local collection and delivery service. With your understanding and support, we will get through this! COVID-19 How can we reduce Coronavirus risk to customers and staff? Firstly, we hope you're all well and still managing to get out cycling as much as you'd like to. It's a great way to keep fit and stay healthy, also poses a low risk in terms of infection.
We are open and operating pretty much as usual, although there are a few things we can do to minimise risk of spreading germs and disease. From our side, we are adhering to government guidelines; regular hand washing and sa...nitising, sterilising door handles, surfaces, card terminals etc.. You can help too.. Firstly, when visiting Topmark please do not touch anything unneccessarily (squeezing brake levers for example!). Also when at the counter consider paying for goods with contactless card payments or Apple/Android Pay.
Finally, if you'd rather not visit, we will do our best to help you over the phone and offer free local deliveries of bikes, parts and accessories. This also includes local collection and delivery of workshop jobs.

"Coughs and sneezes spread diseases!" Well I have an idea. Let's reduce the risk of catching the lurgy by getting out for a bike ride in the countryside, away from the wheezing crowds on the bus, in the gym, the office or wherever. Another benefit is that you'll be fitter and stronger for doing so, meaning you'll have a better chance of getting well quickly if you are unfortunate enough to catch something. And if you're cancelling that summer holiday, the money you'll save could go towards a new bike! Winner winner, chicken dinner!
