Topmark Cycles

We just went in for a browse, having recently moved to nearby Ulverston, and I can't go anywhere without checking out the bike shops. I didn't know what to expect, having found the place quite a walk out of Barrow town centre, but glad I made the effort. It's a veritable Aladdins cave in there, so much floor space for such a small frontage. The staff were some of the the most friendly I've come across in a bike shop, they even offered us a coffee as we were browsing - twice!
The owner was just as friendly and chatty, not trying to sell anything, just genuinely engaging. We talked about trends in cycling, the next thing I knew I was trying out two different e-bikes on the cycle path outside!
I'll definitely be back.

I am an overweight 38 year old male living in a small village on the edge of the Lake District so ideal for cycling but found hills and trails a big issue but cannot recommend Bill and his Team enough I purchased the Giant Dirt-e bike with the help of their knowledge and skill and have had the bike just over a week and done over 50 miles and am getting the exercise I wanted but with the assistance of the ebike where necessary, I have been up into the woods locally and bike to work and back. I can honestly say I have had more exercise / enjoyment in the last week than in the last 15 years on a bike, so would just like to thank all the staff at Topmark for their hard work.

About to start The Bay Way ride over two days and upon arrival in Barrow I discovered a bolt missing from my front brake. Quick search on Google and I found Topmark Cycles only 1 mile away from me. The job was done within 5 minutes of entering the shop not even enough time to drink the complementary Coffee. Thank you Topmark only wish we had such a good cycle shop with friendly and helpful staff where I live. Lots of bikes, including ebikes, a specific ladies section and loads of useful accessories and spares. Would recommend to anyone needing anything cycle related in Barrow.

Great service, helpful staff. Good service dept. Passed as I was doing W2W so not my local shop. Seemed to have good ladies' stock too.
