Hello, my name is Sarah Springall and I am the owner of ‘Topped With Sprinkles’.
The business is run from my home in Redisham near Beccles. My kitchen has been inspected and approved by Waveney District Council and I've been awarded a 5 hygiene rating. I hold the appropriate Level 2 food hygiene certificate and I am fully insured.
As for cake decorating, I am self taught. I absolutely love baking and enjoy learning new ways of decorating cakes, so I am always looking for new challenges. I know my cakes are not technically perfect and that there are people out there that would perhaps do a better job, but I love baking and love making something that people enjoy.
All of my cakes are produced to order using good quality ingredients and are reasonably priced.

Something a little different this time! A spherical chocolate cake with chocolate milkshake buttercream for Spitfire fan Emily.
This Spring and Cliff Richard themed cake was made for my friends Mum. A 10" salted caramel with vanilla buttercream topped with a 6" vanilla with salted caramel buttercream 😋
Today my beautiful friend Jo turned 50 and so a surprise cake was in order. The bottom tier was vanilla with a lemon buttercream and strawberry jam, the top was lemon with and vanilla buttercream. (The top tier should have been a dummy cake but someone ordered the wrong size 🙈 and had to make another sponge at short notice 😂!!)
A classic Victoria sandwich for Eileen's 70th birthday. Completed with a bone china tea cup and saucer and tulips.

Had the pleasure of making these rich chocolate and luscious vanilla cupcakes for my lovely friend Rachel's 40th birthday party at the weekend 😊
Congratulations 'L & K'! A 12 inch vanilla sponge and 60 chocolate cupcakes.
A lovely work colleague celebrated her 60th this weekend but couldn't decide on what kind of cake to have for her big family party. So, she had a chocolate cake filled and topped with chocolate milkshake buttercream, rolos, maltesers, twirl bites and gold glitter AND a lemon madeira cake with a lemon drizzle, filled with a tangy lemon curd and a Cointreau buttercream then decorated with fresh roses and a sunflower.
This 10" traditional rich fruit cake was decorated with marzipan, fondant and handmade roses. Apparently someone who hates fruit cake even had two slices of it. I'll accept that as a compliment!
It's my son's birthday today. This year he wanted a blue turtle! Vanilla cake with a chocolate milkshake buttercream 😊
