Very impressed with the customer service we received today from topp tiles WORKSOP branch. Prior to visiting topp tiles we were very unsure of what colour, type, size etc to get but once in store we were helped by a guy named Glenn Elgy who put us in the right direction with his superb knowledge. He was very patient and understanding and not pushy in any way whatsoever. We would like to say a big thank you to topp tiles. Very pleased with our purchase and would highly recommend them to friends.

I’m so impressed with the patience of Topps Tiles employee -Mark from Bounds Green shop.

He listened carefully what I had in mind (even I didn’t know what I wanted at that time haha) brought me so many samples, put them next to each other 100 times as I couldn’t make my mind. Finally we did it and I just want to say a huge thank you to him!

Such an employee is worth a lot and the company should know that because of him you’ve got a customer who will always come back.

I highly recommend the Taunton topps tiles branch. They have been exceptionally helpful. I’ve been in several times and dealt with every member of staff over my visits and they are ALL consistently helpful with their advice and understanding of the look I’m trying to achieve in my new bathroom, I can’t wait to show them a photo of the finished look! Fab service today from your Kirkcaldy branch , I went in looking for 2 tiles which we had miscalculated when buying tiles for our bathroom, we went in and spoke to the assistant manager( sorry didn't catch his name) said it would be a week to get in but thought he had a box through the back so we were able to buy the 2 missing tiles, fab service, will be back when buying our kitchen tiles

Cannot recommend the Glasgow - Govan - branch highly enough. The customer service was excellent, product knowledge, recommendations, sale and delivery was great. Indeed, when the trims where accidentally missed from the delivery, Stephen (the deputy manager I believe) drove across Glasgow, at night, in an actual blizzard (!) to ensure I had them for the beginning of the work! What a team, thank you!

And the tiles are really beautiful �

Don't just look in the window there is more inside! just talk to the staff



A search on the internet for wet rooms a product for Hardibacker boards appeared on the Topps Tiles web link was on the list so I had a look, the web page was very informative easy to navigate, plenty of products to browse.went on store locator and found it was local to me in Grimsby.



. I mentioned the shop to my wife and we decided to visit the store. when arriving there is a large free parking carpark, the frontage of the store was well signed, plenty of information about offers, discounts, interest free terms.



The large automatic doors opened, so we went in to a well laid out open plan showroom, the display of tiles on show boards with inspirational ideas was welcoming to us we didn't have a clue what would look right for us new wet room. After investigating different layout of pattens, features, textures of the tiles we went for assistance to discuss how the Hardibacker product worked, a staff member who introduced himself as Jamie asked me if he could be of any assistance, so i informed him that we was planing to install a wet room upstairs, replace the bath with a shower but i was concerned about leakage through the ceiling, as this is a present problem that we have!. Jamie explained that the product had been on the market for a number of years, he showed me a sample that had been in water for quite a number of years and had not dissolved or deteriorated, he in depth explained how to install the product if i was going to self install, he told me of on the Topps Tiles website the were many features on how to do projects, eg installation of a wet room, visualiser, photo gallery, on the drop down option in style and advice and what accessories eg TOPP-DEC 1 Wet Room Tray and fittings i needed to complete the project, these he showed me in the store as they had them in stock, all he needed was the room measurements eg floor space, width of floor joists and which way they run, hight of room, door size, window measurements, he then promptly began to work out an estimated price for the quote,.



I was very impressed from then on how my customer experience was handled. That night my wife and i was planing what tiles would look right with the design I had decided. The next day My son and I went to collect the Hardibacker boards 24x12mm for walls and 5x6mm for floor, I asked to speak to Jamie as he had dealt with my enquiry, but he was unavailable to see at the time, another young lady assistant manager assisted and with the purchase and directed me to the collection point, these boards are 1200X800 made of a concrete material and are reasonably heavy. the assistant manager and another assistant whom was also a lady began to help load up my van, i said my son and I would be fine but they continued to assist many thanks for the help ladies.





The following day My son and I went back to the store to place a order for the floor and wall tiles, after looking around we saw a product called Warm Up underfloor heating, so we went to enquire about it Jamie was in store and explained how it worked, the remote functions, wifi operations app usage on phone, and it links up to a combo heater to operate timers, temperature and other functions impressive pice of technology, as it was a bank holiday he was unable to give an exact price for this and promised to contact head office for an exact price, i said that would be fine thank you. Because there is many items that i require i asked would it be ok for him to organise a exact price for all that i need, not a problem he said. For the record Topps Tiles store was a great shopping experience from the start, all the staff were professional, helpful, knowledgeable, welcoming, a trust of honesty, no pushy sales tactics just ask what do i need for the project and they told you exactly.



if your on a budget very reasonable prices highly recommend this store.

The Advertising Standards Authority should make them remove their "lowest price guarantee" claim, as in my experience with two seperate stores, even when all the criteria are met if it's more than a trivial price difference they will NOT lower their price. This is with several different pricy quartz and granite tiles. Shop around, you'll be surprised at the savings.

Went to Thetford shop on 17.12. and spent quite some time choosing tiles for our hallway. Once we decided on the style, we gave the shop assistant all the measurements and purchased two samples and said that we would be back to purchase the lot once we select the right colour. He gave us a price of 327 pounds for 11 boxes. We have gone back today (23.12.) to buy the 11 boxes but were asked to pay 527 pounds! Apparently, the tiles were on sale last week but are not now. I was shocked as it was never mentioned to us that the tiles won't be on sale if we don't come back within a certain time. If this was the case, we would have bought them or paid a deposit there and then as we definitely wanted them just wanted to check the colour. We have been offered a discount today but the final price was still 120 pounds more compared to the original price which we can't afford. Thank you for ruining our Christmas!

We have used to Topps Tiles in the past and have always been happy however this time we had an appalling experience. We ordered the tiles and agreed a delivery date only to be told that morning they would be delivered. A second date was agreed but no tiles arrived and no-one informed us of this. A third date was agreed and the tiles came but the driver could only carry them up 1 flight of stairs leaving my mother to carry them up the next - she is nearly 70 and suffers from back problems. The whole reason we got them delivered was so we didn't have to carry them. Had I known this we would have cancelled the order. I cannot believe Topps Tiles thinks this is acceptable. We will not be back.

This place employs work place bullies who fantasise with their own stories to get their victims sacked and guess what, the bully along with various managers wins.

Shocking outfit and to which I am taking my story to the local media. Watch this space!

Still awaiting my refund over a week later, customer services not interested when I phoned up, it’s funny how you can take money same day but it’s not put back on same day as rules returned

Really poor service from Topps Tiles. Placed an order last week with the assurance that our tiles would be delivered into store first thing this morning. It’s now 4pm and we’ve had tiler waiting around all day as they haven’t arrived and no one is able to tell us when they will. If I’d known that they would take our money under false pretences I would have bought the tiles from somewhere else.

Massively unimpressed with Topps Tiles customer service, both in-store and from their customer service department.



Bought tiles from Forest Hill branch in October with the intention of starting kitchen work in January. I clearly stated this at the time and was told no problem to bring back unused tiles. No mention of the 60 day time limit. If I had known I would have simply waited to buy them closer to the date.



Now that I have two boxes of unopened, unused tiles the store told me I'm out of the period and head office customer services appear to be ignoring me. Seems a waste and not very environmentally friendly to simply dump them in a skip when there is absolutely nothing wrong with them.

Topps may be OK when things are going well but washed their hands when it came to dealing with my problems. The product was way out of tolerance on colour matching and even had different textures.

Would not recommend them on this basis ...😢
