Topps Tiles Sittingbourne

Great selection of tiles.helpful staff.

I went here to purchase some tiles for our home renovation. The staff were so unhelpful and totally uninterested in me they just carried on chatting. We ended up going to the competitor down the road who was only to happy to help me and take our money.

Work with the staff on a day to day bases. All staff members couldn't be anymore helpful. Store lay out is easy to navigate. There is plenty of choice. I could not ask for a better experience....

Poor experience with sales guy who sold us the wrong things.
We were sold very thin tile spacers (3mm) that made the job really difficult, so we ended up going to another store to get 7mm ones that are what you should really have for a floor. This also wasted half a day as we had initially cut the tiles to a 3mm gap before needing to recut them to account for the smaller gap.

We were also sold dry grout that and adhesive that we needed to mix ourselves rather than the easier to use ready mix.
We also said that we were tiling for the first time and the guy was not interested in giving us any advice or help..

Lastly, we bought travertine tiles and weren't allowed to pick the tiles we wanted from the, so of the 20 tiles we wanted 15 of them were unusable because the edges were chipped too far to use.

Very unimpressed with the staff at Sittinbourne Topps tiles..
