Just look at the beautiful new wooden safety knives we have purchased in Explorers. These knives are made from recycled maple, and cannot cut the skin. They allow the older babies to gain independance by cutting soft pieces of their food.

Today the pre school received an engineering box from the James Dyson Foundation. The foundation was set up to inspire the next generation of design engineers. The box has been loaned to us so the children can explore engineering, and spark their interest. They can use all the items, and take them apart to find out exactly how they work. As you can see they have had lots of fun, and the pre school is looking very clean 😀

We are delighted to announce that we have received the bronze award from Eco Schools for our work towards being a sustainable nursery.

Just look at our beautiful home corner in our pre school. We pride ourselves on only using real authentic items, not toys, and real clothes for dressing up. This approach encourages children to use their imaginations, and also supports teaching care and respect for the environment.

Just look at this amazing superheroes small world play recently set up in the pre school. The children absolutely loved this. Look out for more superheroes coming soon !

Dont forget we are having a fancy dress day on Friday 16th November to raise money for children in need. We look forward to seeing all the children in their costumes. Donations would be gratefully received.

To mark Remembrance Day some of the children have made poppies and wreaths. They then walked to the war memorial and laid them.

My little boy has been attending since 8 months old and he’s so happy there. All of the staff are so lovely, caring and so helpful. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them. Definitely a 5*!

My grandson goes to Baby Grows and really loves it. He's been going there since he was a baby and has moved up through all the rooms and will start school in September. All the staff have been brilliant with him he has learnt so much and is always happy and talks about his day and what fun he has had. Every single room is always changing the themes and so much thought and care goes into each activity. I would and have done on a number of occasions highly recommend Baby grow nursery.

My daughter still returns for “mini beasts” holiday club now she’s at school. She absolutely loves it, and thrives in the environment. It really caters for all ages with such a vast range of activities. The staff go above and beyond and you can rest assured whilst you are at work that they are safe and happy!

My daughter has been attending since she was 7 months old. I was so nervous about putting a small baby in childcare but the staff have looked after her as if she was theirs. She comes home happy and has really benifited from the environment. Even when I sneak in to pick her up she’s always sat playing happily, well supervised after clearly having a great day. They keep you so well informed about how little one is during the day and even send pictures through. Very reassuring and a wonderful staff group!

Love love love baby grows. its been fantastic for me with the hours that they are open, it has enabled me to go back to work and not worry about my daughter. She is happy for me to leave, infact she doesn't even notice that I've left the room. The staff are FANTASTIC and always have a freindly smile on their faces.

I have been attending for the baby group on a Friday morning for the last 4 weeks and my little girl has loved it grown really good bonds with the staff that are very helpful and lovely. It's definitely made a change in Amelia with the actives they put on each week and great for people wanting to put children into nursery seeing all the different things they do each week and all the different sensory ideas for the children. It's a great way for advertising for the nursery as I will be definitely putting Amelia into this group when needed. It's a shame it's only on for 6 weeks but hope they do it again.

Have been attending the stay and play on a Friday morning with my 9 month old. He has thoroughly enjoyed it, with different activities every week. The nursery looks fab from what I've seen so far and staff are always helpful and so lovely with the children! It's a shame it's only on for 6 weeks as it's the only playgroup at peace marsh end of Gillingham.

Fantastic nursery with kind welcoming staff. Great menu choice. Very conscious of the environment, installing brilliant behaviours in the younger generation. Great report writing with latest technology and easy to see where the child is in terms of development. The extra activities are both fun for the children and also educational, with additional opportunities to join things like cooking class and Forrest school.

Excellent nursery, excellent staff and excellent management

Both my boys have been attending this nursery since they were 5 months old and my eldest is about to go up to preschool now. I cannot say enough about how brilliant the staff are with the children but also the resources provided by the nursery for the children to play with and learn from. Most days my eldest says he doesn't want to go home when I collect him (I see that as a good thing!). They are growing into such independent, confident and thoughtful boys and a lot of that is with thanks to Tops Gillingham. The staff are not just staff to me, they are also my friends. I would not hesitate in recommending this nursery to any parent.

Baby Grows offers a bright, clean and safe environment for my child. The staff are fantastic and are always willing to help and advise if needed. My son loves being there and has come on leaps and bounds since he started. Cannot recommend them enough!!
