such a tranquil place to relax ... with the added bonus of spa treatments, oxegenated pool, sauna and stream room ... couldn't recommend this place enough!

A shame I didn't upload photos as those on here, tor spa's own website and TripAdvisor are not representative. The food was good, and would represent decent enough quality in a vegetarian restaurant anywhere in the world. The facilities were outdated and could do with some updating, smell of mould in a lot of the rooms in the humid environment. If you are not having a treatment, a half day is enough time to spend here given there is just a pool, steam room and sauna, and garden.

Booked in for the day and enjoyed every moment. Welcoming staff showed me around and then discreetly vanished leaving me to enjoy the facilities. The treatments I'd booked were fantastic and lunch was simple but delicious. I felt like a guest in a private house and was free to explore the grounds and use the facilities as I pleased. Such a relaxing day - I intend to return.

Not bad, but not great either. Having been elsewhere I was looking for a massage. That was really nice but the service wasn't the standard I was expecting.

1) What is pictured on the website photos is vastly different to the actual centre.
2) Went for apt with Ayurvedic doctor Jaya. I did most of the talking. Brief physical examination. Hurry for me to be out of the room before full hour was completed. Recommended specific remedies but could not provide any at all. Was told she would email me information and links I needed. So I was anticipating having to follow these and order over the internet.
3) Sent email the next day. Incoherent scramble of words and sentences and paragraphs all rolled into one. No links at all and was told to go onto the net with the remedy titles and search for somewhere I could purchase them.
4) Wrote back stating that surely this was inappropriate to expect patient to go blindly onto the net and try and track down remedies they were entirely unfamiliar with. Asked for a refund.
5) Email reply following day with dietary tips - again very messy setting out within email of such so very hard to follow as a long run on of words and lines with no coherent spaces or sectioning off for specific areas of response to specific ailments etc. Very hard to read and make sense of.
6) The email contained a link of a company whom she "thinks" sell what I need and the company were somewhere in the "EU" but who knows where and a website address of an organisation in India. Told me to contact the centre for a refund and was apologetic.
7) Contacted the Centre who asked for me to send the emails. Later they emailed me stating they did not feel my complaint merited a refund. That is it.
Disappointing to say the least.
