June is the official men’s health month and it includes Fathers day so what better time to take care of the health of the men in our community. We have a selection of leaflets for you to take away and urge any chaps who have not had a spinal check up to book in for an appointment and catch that problem that maybe lurking under the surface. We are also raising money for prostate cancer uk by running a lolly pop stick pull. We have fab prizes including new client vouchers worth £50 right down to some naughty but yummy chocolate bars. Not bad for a £1 or greater donation. Why not pop along and see for yourself!!

During July the team in the centre are cycling 🚴‍♀️ the equivalent of the 402 miles east to west on an exercise bike in aid of completing our defib project to get a public access machine on our centre building. In the run up to this, please visit us and make a donation of any size for this fantastic project.

Following on from our earlier post about our centre rocks ... this afternoon we set three more of our little creatures free around the Pakefield area .... do you recognise the locations? Can you find them and share a photo and tag us #tblowestoft - then hide them away for someone else to discover.

Just been looking in the Suffolk rocks group and guess what we found! Yes it’s one of our rocks. Keep an eye out around town for more and share your images of those with our tag on of #tblowestoft

Been a great if super busy day today. Paul and Willow have been out to Cefas in Lowestoft to conduct posture checks on the staff. The great news is that so many of the staff have near perfect posture so are clearly well looked after.

It might be Saturday but there is no rest for Sara who has driven to oxford today to meet with McTimoney Chiropractors graduating this year.

It’s May and with all the Bank holidays our Centre skeleton is getting busy in the garden. Look out around the centre for some helpful tips for staying safe in the garden. Also we have a limited number of special vouchers for our clients who want to send their friends in for a new client appointment. Finally we have some special painted rocks which we would love our clients to take and hide / share and post back pictures on here or instagram tagging us with #tblowestoft.

Sneaky peek behind the scenes at our team strategy day last Friday at Ivy House. The session was all about improving our own and our clients wellbeing and achieve a better understanding why is such a great idea to become part of the centre's wellbeing community. Paul explained all about the health spectrum and the benefits of being above average when it comes to your wellbeing. The team completed an exercise working out about calorie burning activities. We all worked together an fed back ideas for adding more wellbeing content to the centre. Sara presented information on getting taking clients from pain recovery into long term wellbeing. After a hard mornings work and a tasty lunch, we moved on to Richardsons Bowling to have some team social time together on the bowling lanes.
