Do you know a parent under 20 years old who may want to study at school/college? They may be eligible to claim for the cost of childcare whilst they study....'Care to Learn' is designed to provide help with childcare costs (and any related travel costs) for young parents so they can participate in education or training without being disadvantaged by the cost of childcare. The financial support offered can help reduce the number of young parents not in education, employment or... training. It aims to help young parents achieve in education, improving their own life chances and contributing to those of their children. The scheme pays a maximum amount of £175 per child per week in London and £160 per child per week elsewhere. To be eligible, young parents must be aged under 20 when they start their course. Their course must be publicly funded but does not necessarily need to lead to a qualification. The childcare they wish to use whilst they are at school or college must be Ofsted registered. Job Advert - Business Administrator (part-time/flexible hours)
Total Childcare Services Ltd is an established childcare business which owns and operates two children’s nurseries/pre-schools (one in St. Leonards, one in Herstmonceux).
Due to our expansion we are looking to recruit a Business Administrator to work alongside the owner/Directors and provide support and administration to the ‘business side’ rather than delivering childcare. This is a great opportunity to become an... integral member of an excellent team of people, and to develop the role.
The role will consist mainly of: • Creating and reconciling customer invoices • Entering and updating information on computer systems • Liaising with customers, other team members and outside agencies • Entering and updating our websites and social media accounts • Ordering goods/products • All other duties as required
The main requirements of the role are: • To have an excellent understanding of IT (including Office 365) • To have extensive experience in business administration • To be able to communicate effectively • To have a full driving licence and access to your own transport • To be able to obtain a full enhanced DBS certificate • To be a non-smoker
This role will be based (initially) in Bexhill but will require travel to St. Leonards and Herstmonceux. The minimum hours for this role will be 15 hours per week and the working times can be agreed. It is anticipated that the required working hours will increase, so applicants must be prepared to work up to 37.5hrs a week if needed. The minimum starting salary will be £15,200 per annum (pro-rata) plus pension and other benefits, although the starting salary can be increased dependent upon experience and qualifications.

You can claim this if you receive one or more of the following: •Income Support. •Income-based Jobseekers Allowance.... •Income-related Employment and Support Allowance. •Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999. •Guaranteed element of State Pension Credit. •Child Tax Credit (but not Working Tax Credit) and your annual household income is less than £16,190 (as assessed by HM Revenue & Customs). •Working Tax Credit 4-week run on (the payment you get when you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit).
