Trying a new approach to getting stronger up-top. As and exercise bench is great, but if you think about it, arguably Push ups are better.So making my self as heavy as possible should help me get strong as! 💪🏻. #logic

I always want to improve the service I deliver so feedback is always welcome. I must admit i'm buzzing with all the feedback i've had back from the ladies currently taking part in Ladies only resistance!
Here's a few of the comments so far!
"Exercising in front of other people has always made me feel uneasy - I felt too unfit/overweight/self conscious/judged and uncomfortable ... and gave up.

Bulletproofing those hamstrings with Chris yesterday! Just one of the exercises from yesterday’s session. A lot of hamstring injuries occur at end range when the hamstring is either tight or not strong enough through the full range of movement. So with Chris’ increased training load ahead of the world champs it’s important to ensure we do everything we can to avoid any injury set backs!

What do we do? Ladies Only isn't your typical bootcamp or fitness class, it's a group of like minded ladies working hard to get fitter, stronger and learning to lift weight safely and effectively.
... The aim of my sessions is to give you all of the exercise knowledge, techniques and nutrition knowledge you need to be confident enough to never need a PT ever again.
Member numbers are controlled so that the same high standard of coaching can be maintained, allowing for everyone to get the attention they need to improve.

Cost: £50 for 4 weeks to start on any Monday (inform me of any planned holidays and we may be able to carry the week over)
What you get: * 4 weeks with 4 sessions per week Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 6-7pm. (come to as many as you like). * Phased approach to training to ensure you improve with every session. * Regular measurements and tracking. * Personalised nutrition guide.

First ever NEST Taekwon-do grading at the gym this morning! Marking the start of a great and hopefully long lasting friendship between Total Conditioning and NEST. If you would like to take up a martial art, Taekwon-Do is definitely worth a look! Little clip from my session with Chris yesterday. Working on that explosive power in the legs with some weighted box jumps from a seated position! This was set Three and still going strong 💪🏻.

Time to educate while I train!
I have a lot to learn about coaching athletes and my coach recommended I read this book to help overcome my limitations. I must say, it’s quality! Definitely a must if you’re looking to learn or reflect on how you can better form meaningful and productive relationships with the athletes you work with!
