What an EPIC way to end a EPIC fitness journey.....
Well for 2018 at least ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ’ช
โ€˜ TFC 18โ€™ will close itโ€™s door today on what has been 8 months of hard work by all
... This is not the end - just a long break so I can do my thing
There has been some lows, challenges , learning curves, and lots of fitness and weight loss success, as well as fun ๐Ÿ˜ฌ
Iโ€™m very proud to have assisted the TFC members, who committed themselves to changing lifestyle habits & choices as well as pushing through their fitness boundaries to achieve things, originally thought impossible for them
Feeling inspired by the effort and commitment of the members present and past I will return with TFC 19 next April and will run a 6 month outdoor fitness camp in the Penistone area

Yesterday was a challenging session for the 6AM Warriors..
We split the session up into 3 parts
1. We focused on mobility drills and activation to prepare for the rest of the session
... 2. We focused on 3 compound movements at a high intensity
3. We focused on core exercises at high intensity
Breaking the session up allows us to keep the session interesting and focus on many aspects of fitness

[ Interval training ]
It doesnโ€™t have to look a certain way.. right
Today we worked on using high volume of reps followed by lots of rest
... This actually shocked the ladies ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜ฌ
And at first they didnโ€™t know what to do with their rest??๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ
So they had an option to do what they wanted
Usually in our sessions the rest time is very short .. which has helped them build up amazing fitness levels
Yet today I wanted them all to focus on technique, especially on the push up .. an area they all find very challenging at present

Sometimes long rest periods can help with your strength and fitness
It allows you to perform each rep with good technique and correct form and allows you to recover for the next set

[ Weekend fitness ]
How can you move more over the weekend to burn more calories.
When it comes to weight loss ... Calories matter most And we know we have to be in a calorie deficit to lose weight.
Often most people struggle to remain in a deficit over the weekend
Why?
Well that can differ for all of us?
Some binge drink Some binge eat Some use the weekend to do very little and relax
Iโ€™m not saying there is anything wrong with this Itโ€™s your choice at the end of the day
Yet when it comes to weight loss goals it always serves you best to stay as active as possible to ensure youโ€™re staying in your deficit over the weekend period
Make sense?
At TFC we encourage all members to stay as active as possible
It doesnโ€™t have to look at certain way for sure..
