Really great news that Norwich City Council won the prestigious RIBA #StirlingAward for their #Passivhaus project Goldsmith Street, this week.
It was not just because it looks a thing of beauty, but also because it IS a thing of beauty. The example that this #GoldsmithStreet project sets (being environmentally friendly and reducing fuel poverty for the occupier) is how every house should be designed.

The September issue of Build It magazine features our HPV Series (heat pump ventilation) in Part 9 of the Self Build Education House coverage. The house is being built as a pioneering real-life project designed to give potential self-builders a unique insight in the the process of self-building their own bespoke home.
The Education House is being built at Graven Hill in Bicester, which is the largest self-build scheme in the UK. Yesterday was the last day of Grand Designs Live! at Excel in London. We had a great time on Wednesday last week with one of our clients that appeared on #GrandDesignsStreet. Lynn on Plot 2 was being interviewed on the Grand Theatre stage by Kunle Barker. Although she had a tough time during her selfbuild, she has come out the other side smiling and wiser. She will soon be helping #GravenHill in their onsite sales office!
