We are appointed by you, to act on your behalf - this is unlike a tied (or multi-tied) advisor who works on behalf of the company they represent.

We advise products and services from the whole of the market unlike tied (or multi-tied) advisors only offer products from a single or small panel of providers.

Tied (or multi-tied) advisors are remunerated by commission payments from products sold or occasionally salary (plus bonuses which are sales based e. g. bank assurers).

We are primarily a fee based business which means our advice is not limited to commission based contracts which frequently can distort the advice process. A full discussion of the pros and cons of this approach will be discussed at the outset of our relationship and no chargeable work will ever be carried out without your written authority. If after completing the advice process and presenting our recommendations you are not entirely happy with our service and provided we have not moved to implementation stage (i. e. application and submission) any fee agreement will become null and void.
