Cheers to the last six years at TGC ❣️ an eerie thing happened as we locked our doors this evening and had served our final Customer ...the clock stopped!! Thank you all again a million times over for your support, custom and friendship. It’s been a fun ride! This week will consist of packing up and clearing out to make way for the new owners. 💓

So the news is out ❣️ after lots of speculation And the odd rumour ... I can confirm that as of April 16 town gardens cafe will close its doors for one last time.
We are so happy to announce that the building is in amazing hands and we have sold to a fabulous and well established business who needed to upgrade their space as they have outgrown their current. Can not wait to see what they do with the place and we wish them every success and more for the future.
It’s a happy ...and sad piece of news as the town gardens team has so much new to focus on...our regulars can still find us on the pier 💓, but as town gardens has been around for over 100 years I know this news will come as a shock to some people.
I just want to thank all of my regulars and tourists alike who have helped make town gardens an outstanding success and who have taught me so much about business and Life. The girls and I have made so many life long friends. Thank you for your continued support as we are on this journey.

Afternoon tea for two lovely ladies today. Happy 81st Josie 💓

Due to us being a largely outdoor cafe., (Although we have indoor seating, we have 50 tables and 200 chairs to get out before we can get in ) we have made the decision to keep closed again this weekend as the impending mini “beast from the east” is upon us. Unfortunately we re opened too early as normally spring is upon us by now. Tuesday we will be back to normal as 🤞 the weather looks to be on the up from then on. Sorry for any inconvenience and thanks for your continued support. We can not wait to be queued right to rhe fountain with all of you sun worshippers in a few weeks !! ☀️

We had a lovely sunny and busy day yesterday and today we are being forced to close yet again. As you can appreciate we are largely an outdoor cafe and this weather does us no good.
... Hopefully the sun will get its hat on by the weekend!

TGC is now completely dog friendly..as long as your dog is friendly 🐶

Unfortunately our re opening has been stunted by the god awful weather. We will be remaining closed until mid week next week where hopefully the weather is becoming more normal ! Thanks for your patience. Pray for a heatwave !

We are so excited to be re opening tomorrow after a long winter away !! We hope to see all of our regulars there plus some lovely new customers. ⭐️ we’ve been working hard all day to get prepped for you all 😁

Town gardens cafe will now be operating a winter schedule throughout December and January. Closed monday-Wednesday.
