When it comes to food I'm not easy to please but this is the best restaurant I've found in the area! Food authentic, very fresh & very tasty! Service attentive too!
We made a reservation here for dinner. It was very busy,but didn't take long before we were taken to our table. The meal was lovely, also a good choice of wine. The waitress was very friendly and Service was good.
We love this place and go as often as possible. Three-generation family birthday this weekend was brilliant: everyone loved their food (steak/veal/spaghetti/pizza and assorted desserts), there was a surprise birthday tiramisu, champagne and wine both excellent and sensibly priced, and the genial, friendly Italian staff are a knockout. Can’t recommend them highly enough.
We have been to this excellent Italian restaurant many times and love the friendly, helpful and efficient service, the food and the authentic taste of Italy. On Sunday we had lunch here and had the special which was roast pork, apple sauce, crackling, roast potatoes, and mixed vegetables. Absolutely delicious - perfectly cooked. For dessert my wife had Strawberry Romanoff and I had the Chocolate Torte, Yummy! Service as usual was exemplary, we are always made to feel very welcome by all. Highly recommended.
We had the seafood risotto it was to die for, it's such a lovely place can't wait to go back
We came today for my mums 70th lunch and was just wonderful. The staff really made my mum feel special with singing happy birthday and giving great service to her, us and her disabled husband. The food was just amazing and really tasty. Highly recommend and can't wait to go back. Thanks for a lovely experience x
Very good service, excellent food, reasonably priced and a great atmosphere. We went there to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary and they joined in with us with a free glass of bubbly, highly recommended.

Traditional feeling atmosphere, pleasant staff and excellent food and service...what more can you ask for.
The food was original Italian cuisine......not fudged about to suit English taste. Great service and atmosphere....couldn’t have had a more enjoyable lunch!
The best service ever. Wouldn’t expect anything less from the Italians. The staff a very accommodating and will correct you pronounceation of Italian words if you want to learn. Worth every penny

Pushed the boat out with 3 courses and a bottle of wine as it was 1) our anniversary and 2) peed off because the show we were attending at the De La Warr was cancelled at the last minute.
We turned up 2 hours before our planned booking , it wasn't a problem even though the place was buzzing.
Very tasty food and wine and our waiter and all staff attentive throughout the meal . Would happily recommend it.
Popped in one wet afternoon to meet up with an Old friend, fabulous staff, fabulous food, fabulous wine, stayed for 3 hours, looking forward to going back in June, the passion of the owners shines through, wonderful restaurant.....
Our 2nd visit, we hadn't made an appointment (Friday lunchtime) it was for my fathers 85th birthday, the place was packed but they very kindly made a table up for us, food and service were excellent as it was on our first visit, will definitely visit again when I'm down Bexhill way.

If you want proper authentic Italian food this is definitely the place to come. I have spent a lot of time in Italy over the years and every time we come to Trattoria Italiana it reminds us of being right back there! As well as the food being beautiful the staff are amazing and so lovely to us all! My kids love it and always want to come here every time we visit East Sussex. Keep up the good work Trattoria Italiana! A little slice of Italy.

Fantastic place we found on the off chance, the Tagliatelle Gamborini e Zucchini is to die for and the Bruschetta al Funghi is a lovely starter.
The staff were absolutely wonderful.

Fantastic food! Friendly service and lovely fresh produce. Was recommended by a friend so we drove to Bexhill to try it - not disappointed! Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and it was good value for money:)

There is a very large selection of main choices from pasta to fish and meat. I particularly like the fegato veneziana. Always good choice on the set menu priced at £8.95 for 2 courses
Everything was absolutely perfect - great food, great staff, nice atmosphere, reasonable price for good quality food, what more could you want

Absolutely fantastic service, fantastic food and amazing value. It was crazily busy when we went there but the attention they gave us was as if we were the only ones. Very professional and polite staff. Highly recommend.
18 of us ate at Trattoria last week as part of a 40th Birthday � celebration. Food and service was excellent. Food came out to all 18 of us at the same time, with no problems at all. All orders right, and food piping hot! Will definitely be eating there again 5*
Went here in Saturday for my birthday dinner. Good good, service and staff absolutely fantastic. BUT OH MY WORD it was so very noisey. It was so bad you could not hear yourself think. Conversation with whoever you went with was impossible. Was glad to get outside for some peace and quiet.
My boys love the staff at trattoria and the food is very good �
Busy restaurant offering good value mainly italian food. Marked down to 4* as service was rather slow on the night we visited and some food was unfortunately not hot enough. Seemed very popular with larger groups of diners.
Food was good ...waited for ages between courses ..even thou people who came in after was served b4 us ... Lol
