We have just come back from having my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary meal there and it was lovely. The staff couldn't do enough and the food was delishious. I would definetely recommend the Travellers Inn to all my friends and family

We all ordered food and drinks and I must say I was well impressed by the service at the bar and by the lady who brought our food .

The food is really delicious and the service and staff are always polite.

Food came as per the menu, really quickly and really hot, from a wide range advertised. Service great and with a smile too! We will be back

Absolutely fabulous. 10/10 service. Food was plentiful and hot. Staff were polite and attentive. When they ran out of the trio of desserts not only did they substitute with a suitable alternative choice, we got given a full sized plate. Highly recommended. We shall definitely visit again soon.

Lovely and cool inside and got served quickly. Ordered food which is reasonably priced and good value for money. Abit more attention to detail on presentation and how plated up but above all was nice thankyou x

Overall impression was good, I had the classic mixed grill, all good , steak was cooked exactly how I like it,only downside was the gammon was a bit dry, beer was spot on though and generally speaking the staff was spot on too, although the bar manager had a funny way of dealing with customer enquiries

Came yesterday for a quick birthday lunch while oldest was at school. Food wasn't too bad, a few bits and bobs were cremated but besides that it was enjoyable. If you want a quick pub meal it's okay but if your wanting a really nice enjoyable meal wouldn't recommend that much. Staff could be friendlier and make more of an effort.

After 2 horrible meals with my family there previously thought we would give it a final try yesterday. Meal was nice for a change but no friendly welcome or an " enjoy your meal "from waiter , hardly anyone in but still waited 45 minutes for a meal of chicken, jacket potatoes and a half grilled tomato

Went here on Fathers Day, didn’t book a table so expected to wait a while. Some reserved tables that some people didn’t respect and decided they would have them anyway ! . Seated in a booth, food ordered, came very quick and was lovely, new management much better than before and waiting staff were very friendly. On our doorstop and love this place.

Meals took ages had to send steak back not done as customer asked waiter knocked drink over not much of a celebration have had a lot better meals from there in the past

1 hour wait for food when not that busy and when the food arrived it was very disappointing. A random lettuce leaf filled with coleslaw looked out of place and the meals were not worth the wait. We only stayed as we knew everywhere else was busy. The bar staff were friendly and polite but no apologies for the delay when bringing food. Will not bother again.

well where do I start we went to the travellers this tea time for my sisters birthday, there was 4 adults and 5 kids, we ordered 2 cod and chips 1 with garden peas the other with nothing, 1 childs chicken filet with cheesey jacket and cob of corn, 1 childs chicken nuggets with cheesey jacket, adults chicken sunday lunch, adults steak and chicken combo plain, 1 childs chicken fillet with chips and peas and 2 kids chicken nuggets with chips and cob of corn, what we got after nearly an hour waiting was 2 cod and chips with mushy peas which I sent back and they just brought it back after taking the mushy peas off leaving bits behind that we ended up leaving that bit was left behind, a childs chicken fillet with a half of and a very plain and dry jacket and chicken nuggets with again a very dry and plain jacket after I asked about the cheese was told it wasnt ordered which it was ! the combo came with everthing when we asked for plain, the childs chicken fillet came with nuggets instead and the chicken sunday lunch the potatoes and york pudding was cold and the veg was hard, 1 childs nuggets with chips and corn came, when we asked for the other one they just brought out a corn or cob!! we then had to wait another 20 mins for the other kids meal!! the staff just kept on passing the buck to the staff at the bar who took the order! we will deffinately not be returning we got no apoligy at all from anybody!!

usually eat here all the time and never had a problem we like to sit outside in the nice weather and have our meal with our little boy, now it is a very limited menu that is available if you want to eat outside if you don't like burger or chicken then your stuffed i think there is about 6 items on this menu only if you want to eat of the normal menu it has to be had inside, to be fair in this weather we prefer to eat in the beer garden and should be able to have of the normal menu if we want, i ordered a side of coleslaw but never came out with my order i had to go back in for it i did not eat any of it as the cabbage was brown and the cold coleslaw had been put in a hot dish as a chef myself i would not have served that. very disappointing and to be honest unless the normal menu comes back in to eat outside i don't think we will be coming back, and we was not the only ones to be complaining.

Well, the food was very under cooked. The assistant manager was the rudest person I have ever spoken too. Never been brilliant but now it’s absolutely terrible. Nobody in the place and waited nearly an hour. Food came out three times incorrect. Hardly anything on the menu in stock. Complete joke from start to finish. Get that awful assistant manager some customer service training QUICK TIME ���

Very slow service. When the food finally came the chips where cold. We both ordered burgers which should have come with BBQ sauce ( which it didn't ). I had the black and blue burger, which had a flat mushroom that contained that much oil it , made the burger very greasy and it was supposed to have got Stilton in it, but could not taste the Stilton due to the amount of grease!!!

Very poor food quality, no meat on the ribs either. Ate there yesterday and have the runs today

Tables and chairs were sticky. We had to move 3 times before we found a table that was reasonably ok. The menus were stuck together, like opening Velcro. Our food arrived, and it wasn't as described in the menu.

It was busy and loud constantly.

There was no salt available, and the staff weren't prompt enough.

I would never order food here again. And this was for my fiancées birthday.

Think we will be taking our money elsewhere.

Shocking service had a baby shower booked for 6pm got there for just before area was still full and filthy wasn't even booked in their diary, ordered a starter and kids meal was told 50 minutes wait wasn't even that busy when it came was overcooked was never table checked or anything and was moaned at for asking for change for children's machines spoilt our evening and wouldn't book a function/party here again now

Rubbish. The lasagne was like mush in gravy granules, we come here a lot and we were really disappointed with the food

Never had a bad meal in my life like I have today I ordered the 5oz steak n chicken combo the steak was so thin and like leather never come with chip's like it stated and charged me extra for a portion of chips the whole meal was � never eat here again � and hardly no staff

I'd give no stars if I could after a two and half hour wait for our food yesterday we ended up leaving with no food and no apology! Absolutely disgusting will never ever step foot in this place again!

I just don't know where to begin really... vile beyond words is the best start I guess. My sweet potato chips weren't cooked, my onion rings were cold, my half a roast chicken was undercooked.... I hope to god now I'm not sick! Something needs to change guys because this place will be boarded up and gone in a year if you don't fix it. The food is just wrong on so many levels. Someone clearly cannot cook basic pub food, a new turn over in kitchen staff might be an idea?

I can’t believe sizzler hasn’t booted the management out. How many people talk about times etc? Over an hour wait when there’s no one in! I have nothing positive to say about this place at all.

Had to wait an hour and a half for food despite it being not busy my corn on the cobs were stone cold I will never go there again it's supposed to be a "sizzling " pub but not a bloody sizzle in sight don't go peeps

Food that was served was half cooked! Food missing off plates! And some cold!! I go in a lot as it's near my house! BIG LET DOWN! Now been told father Christmas was behind bar.when he was ment to be entertaining our kids! Id give no stars if I could!

Beer was good device was good...food was terrible.3 meals on our table tried them all shocking...cheap burgers. Jambalaya was laughable and not cheap...much better places to eat in the area...really need to sort themselves out.i will never be back..piss poor food..gutted..hate paying for crap..

Absolutely disgusting. How can a simple sandwich come without most of its ingredients. Chips were raw. If they can't even get a sandwich right what must other food be like. Complained and got asked if we wanted another bowl of chips free, no thanks!! Why has the brewery spent loads of money having it refurbished if they can't even get the basics right and employ decent kitchen staff. Will never return.
