Glad this place is under new management. Back to being a fantastic little boozer. Staff are friendly and the the most important part the beer is good.

Beautiful food great services made to feel very welcome

We booked for Christmas Lunch. A party of 8 and a baby. The seating arrangements were shocking they had crammed that many in. The first course was probably the best. It was served an hour after we had booked and it went downhill after that. We waited 40 mins for the second course which would have been nice served on time but we all had got past it. The sweetcourse the same long long wait. The Eaton mess was exactly that ....a mess! Broken meringue a few strawberries and sickly cream.

The drinks were expensive compared to other pubs in the village. Then to cap it all no card machine. We had to scrabble up cash for 8 meals. Then on our leaving called back to say we hadn't paid for the baby!!! Even though on booking it was said it would be free. I pointed this out and as she had only had tomato south and bread then a few mashed potatoes I was more than annoyed.

We were also knocking spiders of the table.

Not a good experience at all, and to cap it all we have all been really orly since. My friend is in hospital. I'm at the doctors tomorrow and both my sons partners.

Spoilt Christmas and New Year and at £40.00 a head well what can I say. ??????
