Travelodge Canterbury Chaucer Central Hotel

Very helpful receptionist. Basic but clean and serviceable accommodation.

Great location in the centre of Canterbury. There is parking but it's limited so get down at a decent time. Canterbury is difficult for parking where ever you stay so just be prepared to have to park somewhere else.

The hotel is decent enough, comfortable bedrooms and welcoming staff. If you're here for one or two nights this is the ideal place to stay as it's affordable and central.

Not too bad for a one night stay over. No AC in the rooms so staying in summer is something I will avoid if I return.
Room was OK and clean.
No lift so good luck with your luggage when staying on the top floor.
Breakfast was very good and worth the money.

Overall not bad but I will not be returning any time soon.

Fantastic central location, good parking and a good sized room. Will definitely stay next time I'm in town.

Location is great right in the heart of the town.The room is basic you get what you pay for but room was clean.Only thing I would of liked would have been a bath and shower not just a shower.The place attracts young,loud and inconsiderate people and the rooms are wafer thin so you hear everything and I mean everything.The staff however were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble for them when asked.They were always welcoming and had a smile on their face.

The staff here are a breath of fresh air. They were welcoming, helpful and efficient. The bed was also divine and the size of the room was more than adaquete. I benefitted from free parking due to the broken machine but I think it's quite cheeky of them to charge paying guests anyway.
