Trecarne House

Unfriendly / nitpicking owners!! Dust trap under bed, hair in milk jar / on plate. Be prepared if you are going ...

NO PETS FRIENDLY. CONTROL FRIENDLY.
No way to relax with Trish all time around pretending to be nice, but she is not. We got there at 9pm exhausted after a long travel and hoping to do the check in and relax. This lady followed us all around and getting into our room doing inquisitive questions to me and my partner pretending to be nice but we realized she is not, tried to sell us the next day breakfast (which it was ridicuosly expensive) up to 3 times been too perssistant, Obsessive with noise with the excuse there were childrens sleeping, which is ok, but we had just arrived at 9pm and we were scared about taking a shower or talk to each other.
There is loads of examples we could give about our time there to show how rude and false she really is.
I dont normally comment my experiences about the hotels (and we both are experienced travellers) but I think I would have liked somebody to tell me... DON'T EVER GO TO THAT PLACE. Worst experience ever.

Fabulous. This is the friendliest B+B I have stayed in. A modern, large house with amazing views but mainly an owner who knows her business and is passionate about making everyone welcome.

My son wanted to use the table football but the ball had gone missing....no problem, the owner ordered them and set the table up the next day...these details make all the difference.

Trish the owner was terrific, ,warm and friendly and very helpful. The accommodation is of a high standard and very homely feel . The staff we met in the morning were very much like Trish, Rachel that served our breakfast was lovely too. The views from our room were breathtaking views of the countryside and the morning mist over the valley in the distance was magical. If you want a holiday to remember or just a romantic break this is the place for you ! One thing being off the beaten track is a bonus no noise from anything no traffic etc , just the sound of the Birds in the morning. Take a break here you won't be disappointed! It was a last minute booking for us. Apartment size is good enough for a family. Kitchen-Lounge-Bedroom are well maintained and clean.
My two year old enjoyed the stay!!! Would suggest to my friends.

Great place to stay. So good I keep going back! Lovely home, wonderful breakfasts, friendly care. A good jumping off point for all of Cornwall.

We rented trecarne house for a family weekend and had the a great time. Trish is a great host and was extremely friendly and helpful. The house and location was perfect and I would recommend without any hesitation.

Nice house in the middle of Cornwall, which is very practical to visit the whole area.
Rooms are nice, quite large and clear, and so are the bathrooms.
Breakfast is fine, and it includes a good variety of food for a B&B. Hot meals like eggs and bacon, for example, are available.
Wifi is good.
The owner is very friendly and quick for every necessary support.
Very recommended.
