Tregenna Castle Description
Within 72 acres of private grounds, the 80 bedroom Tregenna Castle Hotel - with its choice of restaurants and bars, indoor heated pools, fully equipped gym, hair and beauty salons and a challenging par 3 - 18 hole links golf course with the most fantastic panoramic views over St. Ives and the Cornish Coastline - is just the beginning of the story.
72 luxury cottages and apartments - from brand new to beautifully converted barns, stables, dairy and farm buildings - and 8 magnificent pole lodges are
available all year round for both short and long letting. Many enjoy sea views and sub tropical private gardens.
Both our outdoor and indoor pools are heated and have separate children’s swimming areas. The outdoor pool has beautiful views over St Ives bay while the indoor pool benefits from climate and humidity control, floodlighting and seating with poolside canopies. Other activities on offer include a fully equipped gym with qualified staff, tennis, squash, badminton, table tennis, croquet and putting. If that’s all a bit too energetic . . . relax in our Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room . . . or pamper yourself in our hair and beauty salon.
Our Castle Kids is one of the first nurseries in Cornwall to achieve the outstanding status in every category under new inspection criteria, and is the latest fully Ofsted registered day care facility to open in St Ives.
Wireless internet is available in the reception lounge & Brasserie and is free of charge.

Ww are actually still staying in this hotel and I leave on Thursday. Booked this for my partners 60 th birthday and I have to say it’s been an absolute pleasure. The hotel, staff & food are all 5 star. It would be really difficult to find fault with anything here. Couldn’t if we tried. Wonderful hotel and staff and even the weather is glorious. What can i say.....absolutely amazing venue for our wedding on 29th May 2018 �
The staff were incredible, and made sure everything was taken care of. We had such an amazing relaxed day, it couldn't of gone any better! The food was also delicious and all of our guests commented on how good it was and said it was the best bbq they had ever had! We feel very lucky that our day went so smoothly and that was all down to the staff!
So, thankyou so much, i am sure we will be back to celebrate our anniversary for many years to come.

What a wonderful hotel!! We had the most fantastic couple of days here. My son wants to live in the castle forever � the room was perfect, a huge bed for me and bunk beds for the kids, which they were ecstatic about. Lovely, clean and very comfortable. The communal areas were fantastic and comfy. The children made friends and had the best time in the halls. It was very enjoyable to sit and have some food and a drink, with a fantastic pianist playing in the reception area. Food was absolutely delicious! Grounds were fantastic and the kids loved exploring and looking at the beautiful sea view! They even enjoyed the walk to and from the bay � a HUGE thank you to Steph and Becky on reception. My son was a little poorly while we were put one evening and covered us both. On arrival back to the hotel, these ladies were so helpful and opened up the launderette for us so I was able to wash our clothes. Thank you so much. All staff were fantastic and friendly, couldn't do enough. Steph on reception is an absolute angel. The kids loved her, always had a smile and very helpful. The kids bothered her most of the time we were there and the smile and conversation never faded. Definitely will be revisiting again, hopefully make it a yearly trip! Highly recommend!! We are currently on the way home and want to turn around! Thank you!!

We had the most amazing wedding at Tregenna Castle. It was absolutely perfect and more than we could ever had imagined. The staff couldn't do enough for us and are absolutely fantastic at what they do. The whole day was perfect from start, food, decorations and right through to the next morning. Thank you for making our day one of the best days of our life. We are forever grateful.
We got married here on Friday 23rd March 2018 and it was amazing, everyone at the hotel were so easy to talk too. The wedding coordinators have been amazing from start to finish and they made the place look beautiful. We can't thank you enough for all of your hard work that took place on our special day. This place is simply beautiful. We stayed there for two nights in the one bed apartment. Fully equipped with everything you need. Beautiful decor. Great location. Very friendly atmosphere and the staff was great. Will recommend. And will definitely stay there again. Thank you for a great experience.
Really loved the place and the staff are on another level. It is an old castle so expect floorboards to creek and remember that is part of the romance of staying in a castle.
Treatments are great but book early.
Pool and sauna etc did the treat as well.
Shame the weather was so bad but with so much to do, you won't get bored...tennis, golf, walks, Pubs, top restaurants everywhere and at hotel.

Tregenna, grounds are lovely, Ceremony and function room beautiful, food was outstanding I would thoroughly recommend them for any function oh and forgot the staff, amazing could not do enough for us from first booking till we left the next day. Just one suggestion for the future, the bridal/honeymoon was lovely but perhaps a complimentary bottle of bubbly and some petals on the bed would have been a nice touch maybe.
Me and my wife stay here 1 night. Is very beautiful place. Very good food compliment to the chefs. Next time we are stay more longer. Thank you to all staff.

It is a grand building, set within lovely gardens, and a beautiful view of the sea. Stayed in one of the apartments, which was fairly spacious, over 2 floors. Upstairs a double bed and bathroom. Downstairs a sofa bed and kitchen with all utilities you may need. Comfortable and relaxing.
I got married at this hotel on 20 April. The staff were incredibly helpful and made our day really special particularly our events person Kate!! I highly recommend this hotel for a wedding it’s so beautiful and the staff are so organised and the package is really good.
Had a spa day here today with friends. The staff were so helpful and Shannon, who did my facial, was amazing. We had use of the indoor and outdoor pools and sauna and jacuzzi and a wonderful lunch. The food and service was 1st class. I came out feeling totally relaxed and pampered ��
Fantastic venue with an amazing view! We had a brilliant time and slept very well! The rooms were warm but the ceiling fan cooled us down! The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make you feel welcome. I’ll definitely recommend to others.
Beautiful hotel in beautiful surroundings! Lovely room with an unexpected sea view, delicious breakfast & Sunday lunch, fab health suite, we had the indoor pool, jacuzzi & steam room all to ourselves!

Fabulous place to stay and ideally located within walking distance to the harbour which is a good twenty minutes walk, Beautiful surroundings and the restaurant was faultless. We stayed in a three bedroom cottage within the grounds, the only negatives from a female perspective were that the bedrooms didn’t have convenient plug points for a hairdryer, there was no table or shelf under the mirror for makeup etc, the bathroom also had no shelf or any space for toiletries, also we only stayed two nights and on the first morning the maid took away all the towels in my bathroom which were still hanging up and didn’t replace them.
The place is amazing and fantastic views like many visitors have expressed. However, the English breakfast is getting a bit old because it is the same at every hotel. Now on some of the negative points at Tregenna. They do not provide bottle of water in rums nor is there any air conditioning in the rums. If you are at the Tregenna castle and it happens to be very worm during your visit, you better bring a lot of water to drink unless you feel comfortable to drink from the tap.
