Which steak is better?

Really enjoyed spending some time here. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Good price for food and drink. Can't fault it. We have visited many weatherspoons and have enjoyed them all.

Great choice of beer at reasonable prices, food is always cheep and cheerful, plenty going on, people watching!!!!!.friendly staff

Went there yesterday had the panini meal deal. Was lovely and hot. Only downside they forgot my daughter's onions rings which was included in the meal once pointed out they bought them out straight away but the waiter didn't realise they were included even though it clearly states it on the menu. Other than that it was very enjoyable

The jacks are up-stairs? What’s the craic with that?

Sometimes the food comes out cold, Which means it's been standing around for a while! Also the toilets are a real issue. Staff are really friendly but there is a Mr Grumpy who works on the floor who serves, he just needs to learn how to smile. But when the plate and the food is hot it's a great place.

I think it's a great place for good priced food and drink.

There is a member of staff that suffers with B.O but I know that's very difficult to aporoach but I've always found the staff to be lovely and friendly but a little understaffed I feel.

Food was lovely and staff friendly and helpful. Would have been 5 stars but out of stock for my first and second choice which was a bit of a pain.

We were looking for a no-nonsense supper after a long day of travel. A pedestrian suggested Wetherspoons as “cheap and cheerful.” It was. The food was hearty and the wine hit the spot. The restaurant was crowded but who can complain: folks knew this was a good spot. I would recommend Wetherspoons to anyone who just wants a good meal. Nothing fancy and no drama. Thank you, folks.

I can neither confirm nor deny that the service here is terrible, nor excellent. I'm sure this establishment has it's fair share of regulars who enjoy the atmosphere and the entertainment it provides on which I expect, a regular basis.



I would also assume that there are people who don't like the place, preferring to frequent in other bars, clubs or a local park with a 3L bottle of cider (Im not here to judge.)



What i do know is that I live in another country, approx 500 miles away and that facebook should care to look on where their users have actually been before asking them to rate businesses elsewhere from where they live.

I've been to loads of spoons and this one is average at best, nice decode but the other reviews that mention food quality are not to far from the mark. Food was ok but generally did not set the world on fire, and some of the food was cold.

Fancied a quick drink before going to the cinema, but consider waiting at least 10 minutes to get served when they weren't all that busy just bad !! Been to the new okehampton branch recently and can hardly believe it's the company !!! Friendly, efficient service and they were very busy. Speaking to others they all say our branch is understaffed and service is slow. By the way we gave up waiting and went to the cinema bar for a drink before film xxx

Watch out with this one!! Went to the till to order our food and drinks, asked if our drinks (I got malibu and coke) came under the meal deal and she said yes, and got back to the table only to check the receipt and find she'd charged me extra for the drink!! Meal was supposed to be £5.99 and is £6.99 with an alcoholic drink. She'd charged me the £6.99 AND an extra £3.10 for the drink!!!! Went back with the menu (to show her it's only supposed to be an extra pound for alcoholic drinks with the meal) the receipt and the drink. Told her she'd charged me extra, her and another girl checked the till and all I got was the excuse of "malibu doesn't come under the meal deal". My immediate response was that I had literally asked her if it came under the meal deal and that she'd said it was and I got the response of "I thought it was". So I told her to swap it for a drink that came under the meal deal and to give me my money back.



But THAT'S NOT ALL! Some guy who was with a group of dudes had basically been sick under one of those side tables with the built in benches that was near to us and then they'd left. My partner alerted one of the girls to it while she was clearing the table as she hadn't noticed it yet and she then got another girl to clean it up. Funnily enough the girl that cleaned it up was the girl who'd already tried to skank me. I'm sorry but the way she cleaned it up was absolutely disgusting!! She brushed it all up onto a dustpan and then proceeded to walk through a pub full of people sat down EATING with said dustpan full of VOMIT!!!! And then afterwards walked through everyone again with paper towels covered in it...... So yeah not the best experience I must say!! Disgusted.

Was disgusted to say the least. Tables were full of dirty plates . Staff taking good out had no idea of the table plans . Toilets had faeces on the floor and toilet seats . No toilet paper in the loos . Children up and down with no supervision . Stairs and carpets hadn't seen a Hoover in days . Usually love Wetherspoons pubs . Will not visit this one again .

Started off great,food came fairly quickly seeing as it was very busy... 3 sunday lunches not very hot,so hingry they ate them. My spinach,chickpea curry stone cold...very helpful waitress took it back to kitchen to get reheated.....25 mins later still hadnt had it back. Complained to manager Marianne who blamed waitress. Disgraceful... letter to Head Office.

Served us one chicken burger raw, and the other was too tough to even bite into. Plus didn't deliver our drinks when ordered on the app. Last time coming here after various problems previously too. Repeat, DON'T GO THERE!

I'm absolutely disgusted about my trip here today, I had taken one of my disabled clients here this afternoon who is in a wheelchair for a spot of lunch. We were sat at table 15 and my client has a rather large wheelchair which she likes reclined. I was sure to leave ample space for people to pass around us, however one member of staff bumped into the handle of the wheelchair, which of course was an accident but didn't even apologise!! And then done it again two minutes later again with NO apology! This was whilst she was having a drink and bumped it with enough force it make her choke!! thought this was absolutely unacceptable behaviour from a member of staff, I could see he was busy but it doesn't take 2 seconds to say sorry!

Had a large breakfast ...was cold apart from the sausages plus found egg shell in my eggs ... Never again i think the cheif need lesons how to cook eggs
