Trevase Cottages Description
Trevase Cottages is a family run business and comprises two large self catering holiday lets in rural Herefordshire. Winner of Visit England 2014 self-catering property of the year, we have been welcoming guests since 2007, firstly to Trevase Granary and then in 2010 to Penbalith Barn also. Both are of the same five star Gold standard and of a similar layout, sleeping 16 in eight en-suite bedrooms with two additional children on a sofa bed. Both look out onto stunning rural views from the comfortable living areas, characterful bedrooms and from the hot tubs common to both. Both properties have private grounds with games rooms and guests can enjoy complimentary fishing at Andy's Fishing Lake throughout the year.

You don't have to travel far to enjoy delicious Herefordshire produce....one of many fantastic places to eat nearby is Wilton Court - Restaurant with rooms . With 5 AA Gold Stars and two Rosettes to its name in a characterful 16th Century building by the river Wye need we say more? For our other recommendations visit our website/links.
Already the combine can be put away until next year which is at least a fortnight earlier than usual due to the hot weather! We hope the gardeners and other farmers among you will enjoy the rain this weekend!

The internationally famous and over 300 years celebrated Three Choirs Festival is being hosted at Hereford this year 28th August - 4th August. A real feast for the ears in the beautiful surroundings of Hereford Cathedral.
We are very lucky in Herefordshire to have such fantastic county grown and made foods including the delicious gelato from Green and Jenks in Monmouth - well worth a visit on these hot days of Summer!
400 years after Beavers were hunted to extinction in the UK they have been reintroduced in the Forest of Dean as a solution to flooding. Hopefully that's great news for everyone!
Eastnor castle is a great place to visit with all of the family and they have other super events in the entrance price during the holidays...
We are very lucky to have such a great selection of places to eat near to Trevase Cottages and this is one of them. Great for walks nearby or pop down to the nearby Skenfrith castle.
Delicious juicy red cherries are hiding on one of Penblaith's fruit trees at the moment ready to be picked! Later in the year you are also welcome to help yourself to the damsons, plums, apples and pears. There are also some ripe raspberries to discover! The grass may not be growing but the fruit is doing well!

Even the cows, calves and John the bull have been doing a little sunbathing.... This charming sight can be seen from Trevase Granary.
We have invested in a smart TV in Trevase Granary's games room so you can now enjoy watching football on BBC iplayer or any of the other web based channels. The xbox 360 can also be enjoyed here.

I think most of us enjoy relaxing in a hot tub so you may be interested to know that we have a new Caldera hot tub at Penblaith Barn. It has a built in audio system so you can listen to your favorite tunes whilst taking in the stunning views from the hot tub and don't forget your favourite tipple!
Herefordshire Walking Festival is one of the many walking festivals in the area and takes place between 16th and 24th June with so many interesting and beautiful sights to see. We have great fun crafting in the dining room, chilling out in the lounge and really relaxing in the hot tub! the bedrooms are fantastic as are the views, id recommend this to any group of craters, or just people looking to spend more time together... we come back every 6 months and haven't had a bad experience yet.

Wonderful weekend at Penblaith Barn...amazing venue and grounds and we had perfect weather for it! The barn was SO well stocked and we had everything we needed and more!
We stayed at Penblaith Barn this weekend for a Hen weekend and it was absolutely amazing. The setting is absolutely beautiful, the house is so spacious and decorated to a stunning standard, and there are some great places nearby for activities. I couldn't recommend it highly enough for a group/family holiday destination.

Just returned from an absolutely perfect weekend at Penblaith barn for my sisters hen weekend. Weather was lovely which made the fantastic views and the hot tub even more enjoyable! All of the hen's couldn't get over how amazing and well equipped penblaith was! Will definitely visit again and highly recommend to others!

Just got back from a wonderful family holiday at Trevase Granary, celebrating my Grandma's 90th birthday. Absolute luxury in the most stunning surroundings! En-suites for every room, hot tub, games room and even a stair lift for Grandma - everybody's needs were well catered for. The kitchen & living areas were kitted out to a superb standard & there was plenty of room for all 16 of us. The cottage is perfectly located - we were able to explore the local countryside - biking in the Forest of Dean & canoeing on the river Wye and picturesque runs in the fields immediately surrounding the farm, for the more active amongst us & pretty towns & villages for the more mature members of our party. We would most definitely recommend Trevase to our family & friends. Thank you!
Just came back from my 40th birthday family weekend and this cottage is amazing everything you need and more. Fantastic dining room for everyone to sit together, brilliant games room and hot tub! Thank you I am sure we will be back!
Just came back after the most amazing stay at Trevase Cottages for my partners 30th. The cottage is absolutely beautiful and honestly has everything you could ever need. The games room with hot tub is amazing and all rooms in the house are stunning. We were so so happy with our stay and the owners were extremely accommodating. Can’t wait until we can book again!
Gorgeous home from home in a beautiful part of the country. Kitchen is incredibly well equipped, fab games room, spotlessly clean, perfect for celebratory weekend, Would be amazing at Xmas; one wouldn't mind being snowed in at all!

Came back yesterday from a fabulous weekend for my sisters hen do! The farm house was absolutely amazing and all 18 of us were in love with the place from start to finish. The garden area with hot tub and games room was an added bonus and we made great use of it all weekend as we had great weather. I would recommend this place to anyone! Great for large families too.

Absolutely beautiful accommodation! 12 of us had a fab weekend in The Trevase Granary, celebrating mine and my good friends 50th birthday's! Beautiful ensuite bedrooms and fabulously equipped kitchen, amazing dining table and lounge for us to all comfortably eat and rest in! And the hot tub was just amazing! This home comes highly recommended, and we will definitely be going back!!!
