Trevor Spinks - Fine Artist Description

BESPOKE ORIGINAL HAND-PAINTED PORTRAITS FROM PHOTOGRAPHS.
Very lifelike Equine, Animal and Human Portraiture.

The ideal unique gift, presentation or pure self indulgence.

Trading as 'Trevor Spinks - Fine Artist', I am an East Sussex based artist who accepts commissions to paint very lifelike Equine and Animal Portraits from photographs.

I am particularly well known for my bespoke oil paintings of Horses, Dogs and Cats. Exquisite oil paintings can be produced at a 'very reasonable price' from 'very good photographs'. The better the photo is, the better the painting will be. In the absence of suitable photographs being available (and the subject being still alive! ) I may consider taking photographs myself; if reasonably local to Sussex and the South East of England.

I am also known for Human portraiture, paintings of private Homes and business premises.

In addition, I also paint Wildlife studies and Land and Seascapes. My Land / Seascape work is often exhibited for sale in local art galleries.

The ideal gift, presentation, or pure self indulgence. To obtain a bespoke quotation or to make an enquiry about my service and prices, contact me by phone, email, Fb Message, or via http://www. freeindex. co. uk /profile(trevor-spinks-fine-artist)_725300. htm

PRICES. . . . . . . .
Bespoke prices are variable and reflect the size and intricacy of the artwork desired. My prices are extremely competitive.

Starting from as little as only £115 (incl framing) + P& P, you could commission me to paint from a good photograph - One head and shoulder portrait in oils, on either stretched canvas or canvas panel.

A NON-RETURNABLE Goodwill DEPOSIT representing one third of the agreed total commission price must be paid before artwork is commenced.

Contact me by phone 01424-852687
email. . . trevorspinks@btinternet.com
or Facebook message me for further details and a price guide. I will always provide a bespoke quotation based upon your requirements; and your pocket!

Please visit my photo 'Albums' on this Facebook and have a look at some or the many examples from the hundreds of paintings that have been previously commissioned by very satisfied clients.

If it’s capable of being painted then I can almost certainly paint it.

I was commissioned by Jackie Guy to paint this Oils on canvas portrait to celebrate the life of my dear childhood friend Derek Wix. Sadly, Derek recently lost his valiant fight against cancer. This portrait of Derek and his dear wife Lesley Wix was worked from a photograph that I took last year when Sue and I, together with our mutual childhood friends Alan Calder and Doreen Calder, all spent a wonderful and memorable reunion day together. What a giggle! I share this image by kind permission of Lesley Wix.

Trevor Spinks - Fine Artist Another commission completed. I have given my painted canvas the title 'CHECKMATE'.
This Acrylic panorama of The Old Coastguard Cottages at Cuckmere Haven, Seven Sisters Country Park. ... In addition to the iconic land/seascape and 'Old Coatguard Cottages', I have painted quite a bit of animation into the picture. Zoom in to the images and try and see if you can spot the adornments. I have included the following........
1x Border Collie, 3x Sheep 8x Lambs 1x Kestrel 7x Mute Swans 40x Gulls 22x Human figures 10x Yaghts 4x Kayaks and 1x RNLI Offshore Lifeboat. and a host of golden Daffodils.

Lovely feedback about one of my commissioned wildlife paintings from Mrs Teresa Sargent in Eastbourne.
"Hi Trevor, wanted to let you know that my husband is very pleased with your barn owl painting. I know he loves it because he has told his friends all about it! Thankyou very much for a very special painting. Happy New Year! Regards, Teresa."
Thanks very much Teresa. I appreciate the positive feedback. I derived a great deal of pleasure from painting this Barney.

'Roly' Painted in Acrylics by Trevor Spinks - Fine Artist

This lovely recommendation for my commissioned artwork has just been posted by Caroline Lawrence...........Thanks Caroline
"I requested a painting of my Mum's late dog Roly for a Christmas present for my Mum. The photos I had were dreadful, but I just hoped that anything with a resemblance of Roly would be good enough, however, when I collected Roly.... it was like looking at him directly and not a picture at all. Trevor captured everything that Roly was and more, stunning p...ainting and bought tears of joy to my daughters and my Mum who absolutely adores it. I would more than recommend Trevor for any requests and wouldn’t hesitate to use his talents again. Absolutely amazing and such a lovely man also. Thank you very much Trevor.❤️ "

Finished at last! 'The Ghost of Dunkirk'
My mature art student prodigy BRYAN ELLIS and myself have painted a collaborative picture of a vintage RNLI lifeboat in a somewhat contrived beach seascape set beneath the East Hill Cliffs, Hastings. The notion to paint the 1931-1950 Hastings Lifeboat, the 'CYRIL and LILIAN BISHOP' aka 'The Ghost of Dunkirk' was originally conceived by Bryan Ellis and then executed under my direction and supervision. This framed and ve...ry detailed painting, which bears the brush strokes and signatures of us both, is intended to be gifted by Bryan (a Hastings lad) to RNLI Hastings in order to hopefully boost their charity. What they choose to do with it will then be their decision entirely.
Feedback prior to presentation would be welcomed.

Well it is the end of another year. I would like to say thank you to all those lovely people who have purchased my paintings during 2018; either by buying exhibited artwork directly, or by commissioning specific artwork from me at Trevor Spinks - Fine Artist. I would also like to say a huge 'thank you', and wish a happy new year, to all those that I have had the pleasure and privilege of teaching privately in my own studio. The same 'thank you' and seasonal greetings greetin...gs go out to Jennie Harmer Art my co tutor at N.A.D.A.S., and of course to all the wonderfully happy and receptive members of Ninfield and District Art Society. Here's looking forward to a bumper year in 2019. I have just unearthed these never before seen pics of a tutorial that I did for N.A.D.A.S back in the summer. The topic was 1/ Planning composition, balance, and layout of artwork. 2/ Understanding how to sketch basic arcs, curves and elipses.
