Good luck to all of our students taking part in the outdoor performance of The Suppliants. First performed in 463BCE, this play is one of the most strangely beautiful of all Greek tragedies, rich and suggestive out of all proportion to its brevity. It is about helplessness, need and what it means to stand up for those who are defenceless. The first show is tomorrow evening at 7.30pm, with subsequent performances taking place at the same time on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. There will be both seating and standing opportunities for the audience. Tickets cost £16 & £14 (concessions) and the price includes hot food and beverage and a programme. To book, go to https://www.tringpark.com/whats-on/the-su ppliants-drama-show

Students from across the school have been busy making 330 poppies to represent all of the soldiers from local regiments who fell on just one day during the Battle of the Somme. #lestweforget #ww1centenary #armistice #hertfordshire #tring #armisticeday #poppies #remembrancesunday

As the centenary of armistice day approaches, students on our acting course are rehearsing for their performance of World War I play The Accrington Pals by Peter Whelan. Performances will take place at the Markova Theatre at 7.30pm on 20, 21, 22 November and 2pm on 23 November. Tickets are available from tringpark.com £13 & £11 (concessions)
