There are not enough words to express how extremely grateful we are for the fantastic care, support and dignity with which you treated our dad in his final days. Every single person has been wonderful, I don't know how you do it but thank god there are people like you in this world! We will be forever grateful to you all.

User

Such an amazing place , for my dad's final days. He was treated as an individual not as a number . All the staff are truly genuine and care for the wellfare of the patient. This is why I plan to have an annual event for Trinity as a thank you (as Trinity & Brian House rely on donations) XX

User

Sad to have to say it, but my dad passed away here and I cannot thank everyone enough for everything that they did. We will never be able to repay the care and support you gave us in our darkest times, but hope beyond hope that you all can keep on giving families the peace that you helped us have in such a dark hour xx

User

Myself and my Mum volunteered for the Trinity following the death of a very dear friend who was cared for by these wonderful people. Two years on my Mum was given the sad news of being terminally ill and only lasted a mere 6 months...the support she received from the Trinity was amazing and the day care staff could not do any more to make her feel welcomed, supported and loved. I will always support the Trinity with monthly donations and fund raising. They are simply the best - thank you to ALL of you X

User

My sister passed away here on 6th October 2016. The care she received for the last 48hrs of her life was nothing less than excellent. Dedicated, hard working team who couldn't do enough for us or Denise. Truly remarkable through and through xx

User

My mum recently was admitted and eventually died here 5 weeks ago! I could not think of a nicer place for her to have been! All the staff are amazing and give so much care to those who are ill and to their families! The staff are there to help you and your loved ones and cannot do enough to help!

Trinity is such a lovely place, a relaxing environment and a bonus to Blackpool & the Fylde areas! Thankyou to Richard Feaks and all the staff on the blue ward too. Thankyou Trinity Hospice for being there for my mum - Jane Shepherd, and us as a family!

Thankyou.

My lovely friend Janice Powell was unsure how to post her lovely status praising you all so here it is ....

Today has been a good day.

Whilst at Trinity hospice this afternoon I was talking to one of the ladies who cared for dad; she told me how he came to life when out in the garden and how nice it was to see. I suddenly remembered that with this phone I had the 'technology' to show her the 'real dad'; before he became ill; the laughing joking person in the garden, helping with the 'building works', out on country walks and really, just dad. She said she could now understand the real Ian and some of the comments he would make and the stories he would tell

I looked on through the rest of the photos and all the crap of his illness disappeared; I was able to remember with happiness all the good times and all the fun, love and laughter that was my dad.

Thank you, Trinity Hospice, you have no idea how much I am grateful for you and your wonderful family of staff

My husband Mark sadly passed away on the 24th February. Mark had spent three weeks before Xmas in trinity adjusting his medication and the care and attention he received was excellent and made me relax as he was safe in their care. He went back into trinity on the 18th February to help with his anxiousness and confidence. His death was unexpected. But I would like to thank trinity for everything they did for both of us. Mark felt safe in their care. Sandra Bennett

My dad was here for the last ten days of his life when he passed away on 2nd August 2016. The staff are absolutely fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. They not only cared and looked after my dad they cared about us as a family too. Beautiful gardens to sit in and take your loved ones to see. Pets allowed as well. I'm so grateful for how everyone here treated my dad. Angels every single person here. Xxx

If i could give a million stars i would. We are a BIG family and my dear Dad was so well looked after from the moment he stepped foot in there. Not only did Trinity take care of him, they took such good care of us. Nothing was too much trouble, they listened to us when we were upset, fed us when they could tell it was just what we needed, laughed with us in the moments that made our dark dark situation a little bit brighter. No amount of words can ever repay Trinity.. the doctors, the nurses the voulenteers.. the care and compassion we recieved was just second to none! Not only did they make my Dad as comfortable and peaceful as he could (unfortunately) be they looked after us when ws couldnt look after ourselves. They housed 9 of us for a full week plus all his friends and siblings that visited each day, i have two little girlsnwho thoight it was just amazing. This hasnt been the easiest thing to write because its not a time that i like to reflect back on very much but i cant express my gratitude enough

User

I would just like to say on behalf of my Dad, my brother David and myself what a wonderful place the hospice is, my mum Jean Bury died there on Tuesday 6th October 2015, and i can't thank you enough for the wonderful care and treatment you gave to her, you gave her such a dignified end and she had all her family around her, what a wonderful job you all do. THANK YOU xx

I was diagnosed with non operable, stage 4, pancreatic cancer at the beginning of the year. There followed several 'lost' months, but now I am regaining some mobility and getting my brain in gear again. This is mainly due to the fantastic NHS service including daily support from the district nurses, and further help from the Trinity Hospice specialist palliative care nurses.

Pancreatic cancer is very difficult to diagnose, has a high mortality rate, is more common than you might think and unfortunately, it seems to receive the lowest funding!

Please be aware of the many and varied symptoms of this disease. Early diagnosis is vital for survival.

I’d like to do something to help Pancreatic Cancer UK and Trinity Hospice continue their work so I have decided to initially walk a marathon in May. Just to make it clear – not all at once! I hope to be able to walk, perhaps, 2 or 3 miles a day until I reach the 26.2 total.

If you would like to sponsor me, I have set up a fundraising page at Virgin Money Giving Jerry Coughlan (sorry but can't use the url here)

Thank you.

Jerry
