My daughter Darcie has been doing the cat program for a year, the show was tonight.
As usual not much information given after each week from a teenager , but wow the work these kids, teachers and everyone involved has put in is staggering.
The very best thing about this place is the support for each other ,from the students not sure how that is achieved but it’s clear and very positive to see.
Amazing thank you so much my nervous dancing daughter seems to have grown under your watch and I am grateful xx

Before I moved to near Cutty Sark, I have been in contact with the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance for my study.

After I moved around here, I have walked around the campus quite a few times, and I enjoy the vibe, the sounds (from the practice rooms), and a wonderful performance today.

It is an improvising gig with instrumentalists, singers, and dancers of various genres. The interactive performance has touched upon several themes, in my understanding, such as friends and families, environment protection, conflicts and care, etc. The King Charles Court, where the performance took place, is outstanding with its acoustics and layouts.

I hope to visit the Trinity Laban again in future, and would love to attend more performances here! 🎶💃🏻

Beautiful location, best picnic spot in London. Great vibe and atmosphere. School building is awe inspiring and staff is very friendly and kind. Best place to be on a beautiful summer's day .

Would give zero stars if possible. staff often bully students. worst four years of my life. Using false account as i still have my final assessment and don't want to be marked down because of this review. DO NOT STUDY HERE! i really wish i never had.

I never danced once. No space for practice as well. (1 hour slots in crowded room schedule). Terrible idea.

Having just graduated from a three year BA course from Laban, I can say that the school develops artists and helps them grow creatively and physically. Teachers are usually very keen to help and share their knowledge, always building a strong teacher-student relationship. If it was not for the flaws the organisation has with communication, I would say that this is the best place to be. However, that does not affect the studies too much overall.

Apart from the courses, they regularly organise shows and sharings of all sort, from studio to theatre performances, of both music and dance, be it current students, alumni or guests. The shows are very well produced and the fees are more than affordable.

The building itself is quite special, while the Bonnie Bird Theatre is one of the best dance stages. In addition, they have a café selling cooked food during lunch and sometimes dinner (in case of evening performances).

I recommend it for future students, parents, art critics, headhunters and any other art lover. Music, dance and art installations, all in one place.

Went there in my youth for a few classes amazing experience. Then became professional dancer.

An excellent music school. Free concerts weekly by its outstanding students.

Studied there over the last few years but to be honest there isn't anything to special about it. Admittedly the departmental classes were very helpful and the 1to1 tuition is pretty amazing. (if you have the right teacher)

Unfortunately, all of the good things are brought down by the severe lack of organisation. Like exams clashing whilst being abroad, emails not being read, not informing everyone of important dates/times of their exams, getting the overall BMus degree result wrong etc..

Regarding the students, most of them set a lowish standard and would rather spend their time getting drunk every other night. However there are the odd few that work exceptionally hard.

I'm not saying you shouldn't study here because there are many great things to learn and people to meet. But for every 10 people, there will always be 1 who has to compensate so that the other 9 embark on a memorable journey.

Laban is a truly amazing dance school with regular events open to the public. It is set in a amzazingly designed building and grounds which are well worth a visit in themselves. The dance events are very contemporary. You'll see choreography you've never seen before.
