attended with a group of friends last night (hen party) the staff were friendly and the food was amazing!!!!!!!!

thank you to the lady that was behind the bar (think she is the owner) on converting me into a gin drinker, its all about the tonic too!!!!

would highly recommend this place we had a fantastic night and will deffo be back

Lovely food, great service, especially from the very friendly and knowledgeable bartender who took time to understand the kind of drinks we liked and knocked up some delicious G&Ts for us. Highly recommended!

Lovely chilled out comfortable setting with lovely knowledgable waiting staff. Food was gorgeous, ordered 4 dishes plus a cheeseboard between 2 of us and this was more than enough. Tried a few of the gins which were also really nice. Will definitely be paying another visit to this place

Found on trip advisor and went due to the excellent ratings. We went for my husbands birthday and Loved it, food lovely, but would like to see a few more meat dishes on the menu what we had was nice, fresh & very tasty. Lots of drinks to choose from. The waitress was lovely, she brought us complimentary water and bread, dips as soon as we sat down and there’s no pressure to order lots of courses. Didn’t get to see the jazz singer as the bar was very busy due to tramlines but they sounded good. Would definitely recommend.

First time at Trippets for years. Went to see Dora Goddard and the Glimmers I think !! Darren Ford and Steve Beighton from the Acoustic Angels plus bassist Jeremy Meek of the Paul Carrack band. It was a brilliant night, I had the gin of the week and it came with free tonic. Lovely atmosphere, would definitely recommend !!

Excellent service. Excellent food. What more can I say. A must try if your in the area. Advise you to book though as it’s very popular. Loved that the waiter knew what gin I would like and surprised with the most delicious gin I have tasted so far. Thanks for a great night x

Epic evening at this unique place. Amazing food and live jazz with the owner going the extra mile and took the time to introduce me (bourbon drinker) into the sciences of gin to select a gin and a tonic separately to suit my taste buds. Awesome.

Came last night and had food and non alcoholic cocktails. The food was absolutely delicious and it was nice to try lots of different things. The non alcoholic cocktails were lovely too. Debbie, Carl and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly, we will definitely be going again.

Brilliant combination of good food, wine and atmosphere delivered in a great building with some history.... including a little local art �

Absolutely the best bar in Sheffield! Incredible cocktails, amazing range of interesting gins, all served beautifully, and lovely knowledgeable and friendly staff. Always a treat to visit!

Absolutely fabulous night out what a little gem of a place - the bar team were so knowledgeable and enthusiastic and knew the gin "bible" off by heart - we were entertained by Jack T Harper ft Zootz an outstanding musician who made the evening - we had bar nibbles which were excellent - will be back again soon - thank you 😊

Absolutely brilliant! The live jazz was amazing and we even got the pleasure of having two bossa nova songs played just for us.

The staff are very friendly and the house band is phenomenal. They are interactive with the people at the tables and you can't help but tap your feet all night long.

Drinks are fantastic and the prices are well under what you would expect from a list with over 70 gin types.

Will be going back next weekend to try the food.

Yesterday was our first visit and we will be going there every weekend from now on.

A bit of a hidden gem! Lovely staff, epic gin menu, and a chilled out atmosphere. Didn't try the food as we had a reservation elsewhere, but would love to sample their cheeseboard as it looked so tempting. We definitely want to come back.

Quite disappointing that we were given the bill at 22:25 and were told that there is not a specific closing time, when you clearly state that you close at 11pm. All 4 of us felt that we were not appreciated as customers just because we were the last customers.

Hi Carl and Debbie , have at last tracked you down from The Bulls Head . The reviews and place look amazing, will make a booking soon,it will be great to catch up. Kind regards.Garry
