This site is all about location location location, hence the price. Stunning views over Polzeath surf. Hate paying extra for showers and WiFi.

Fantastic setting overlooking beach
However this must be either the or amongst the most expensive campsite s in Cornwall
£30.40 for one night for 2 people in a small campervan with electricity in the budget field for 2 nd week in September!! The receptionist looked surprised when I said it was dead and said that was cheaper than it had been.
This is one site we will not be returning to unless we win the lottery!!!

The positives; friendly staff, great location. The Cracking Crab restaurant adjacent was superb for dinner. The slight negatives, all pitches are on a slope however being in the location the site is and with the fantastic views is worth this minor hassle and you can buy wheel chocks at reception. More of an issue for me is the waste management - the dumpster bins were only managed on our last (4th) day after a high wind. They had been overflowing on previous days and rubbish was blowing around today and staff did then manage the bins. There is no recycling which is a minus for me. It's a bit pongy by the water point where the drain cover to what is is presumably a septic tank and the launderette is expensive compared to other sites we have visited on this tour.
Overall though a nice site and I would recommend it for the location.

Basic. Nothing really on site to do, restaurant was very overpriced and only offered variations of the same food. Strangely don't offer basic fish and chips.

After paying £165 for a fairly standard pitch, we were shocked to find that we had to pay to use the shower. 50P for less then 5 minutes. Found this ridiculous and unnecessary, but it reflects the greed of the owners of the site.

Extremely disappointed and wouldn't recommend to anyone, certainly won't be coming back again.

We stayed in a large bungalow called Rigi on the edge of Tristram Camping Park with it's own large front garden. It was absolutely stunning. One of the best holidays we've ever had in Cornwall - or anywhere for that matter. Lots of lovely eateries nearby. And the Cracking Crab is within crawling distance if you have a few too many glasses ;)

This campsite must have one of the best views in the whole of Cornwall!!! Waking up everyday looking out over beautiful Polzeath beach is a wonderful thing. Decent Spa in the village for food and a couple of places to eat out nearby. The campsite cafe is pretty good too. I was tempted to give 4 stars on account of the pricing, it's not cheap! But really to get a campsite in this location you have to shell out a few extra quid and I think it is just about worth it.

Chilled out, fun, great people, good for family's or friends. Great surf which is just a 1 minute walk away.
