Tropical Butterfly House Wildlife And Falconry Centre

I am a regular visitor and hold a yearly membership. This is a great place for any toddlers or children that love outdoors and animals. The animals are wide ranging and the staff are super friendly and always happy to help. If you get there early you can get the food pots (for £5) and feed a wide range of animals. The play area and outdoors water area are great in summer and we recently went for the halloween festivities of which i can say were excellent.

An excellent day out for a group of toddlers. They loved the animals, and the play equipment. Maybe not enough attractions to maintain an older child for a whole day, and you can see how they have grown with a few "why is that there" moments - but overall we had great fun.

The flying bird display was great fun with some quality Halloween themed acting from the birds.

Visited today, first time in years. It has altered a lot with many more animals. It is a lovely place with lots to see and do. Very friendly, helpful staff. Overall a really enjoyable day out. One thing, I think the door on the actual butterfly house should be on a lock system as people were stood with the door wide open for a while and I actually saw a butterfly fly out and why weren't the lemurs allowed out into their big enclosure. They were all indoors with only access to a small space outside.

Great day out for the family with younger children or ideal day out with grandparents.
We arrived to a Easter egg hunt which was very popular and proved great fun. .Wheel hair accessible, some areas need help with gradient.
We also enjoyed the Tropical Butterfly house .Watch out for your camera lens /glasses misting up!
A Interesting colourful and informative day out. We can highly recommend it. Birds of prey and birds such as peacocks roam with their beautiful plumage .

We had a wonderful day at the Tropical Butterfly House on Sunday. There is so much to do and so many places for children to explore. My little girl was shrieking with laughter at all of the characters scattered throughout the site who squirt water unsuspecting passers by. We had such a wonderful time exploring woodland trails, finding fairies and dragons. I particularly
enjoyed the bird show. This was surprising for me as I am not a fan of performing animals. The show is particularly well done however, drawing attention to the threat these wonderful birds face by humans due to poachers and the destruction of the rain forests. The entry price is very reasonable considering how much there is to do. We will definitely be back.

Great place to view the animals up close! My husband and I had a great day out and learnt so much information about these beautiful animals in a fun and entertaining way. So much to discover and all done very creatively. Great cafe as well serving a variety of foods. I'd just ask for more vegetarian options!

Had a lovely time! Went on a sunny Sunday morning, it was fantastic. I would advise going early though (we got there exactly as it was opening and we cued for 10 min). As we left around midday we could see it getting quite crowded.

Wonderful butterfly house and some beautiful lemurs and other animals.
There's an element of fun about the place to. With Bird of prey displays, parrots and things of a more rodent nature.
Everywhere was clean and well run and we had a great time. The cafe was nice and we diet think overpriced. We will be going back. Watch out for the water spraying booby traps though!

Always a brilliant day out! Far more than just a butterfly house - go in with the Lemurs & Wallabies, feed Meercats & see a great Parrot show. Always plenty of people in the car park - but never feels overcrowded in the park. We're frequent visitors now!
