The Tropical Fish Keeping Journal for our time honoured and noble traditional of tropcial fish keeping.

Dear Facebook Tropical Fish Hobbyists,

As I celebrate 50 years as an Aquarist this year, 1967 to 2017. I decided to create "The Tropical Fish Keeping Journals", so fellow Aquarists and Tropical Fish Hobbyists, could pick up copies of these Book Journal Editions that cover particular subject areas of our pastime of tropical fish keeping!

I plan to produce in addition to these collectors full colour editions of the journals in print, an aquarists anniverary club members edition for reference, and produced in a pocket book size, to help keep down the costs.

I also plan to produce these current, and future journal editions in digital, after numerous requests. Making the digital editions as cheap as possible for all my hobbyists readers and friends to enjoy!

Sadly this year on the 15th of May, 2017. We lost Dr. Herbert Axelrod, the founder and creator of the Tropical Fish Hobbyist Magazines, and writer and publisher of numerous books, that eventually formed TFH Publications Inc. Sadly the old hands as I call them, seem to be getting fewer in number. For I also lost another aquarist and dear friend some years back Dr. Eduard Schmidt-Focke, who helped give me the encouragement to write the first discus book, after successfully breeding wild symphysodon in captivity.

I hope to write more books and journals, to help towards making tropical fish keeping an enjoyable hobby for all, since the traditional and time honoured pastimes proper inception, at The Great Exhibition in 1851, London.
