Hi Tropicana customers and likers...it’s been a while since I posted anything new, l’ve been lazy just repeating the previous post😂... There has been some arguments recently on Twitter #Master Chef , about how chicken rendang should look be like. So here is a pic of our chicken rendang...it’s should not be crispy or in a sauce.. just blended with spices and moist..👍 similar to beef rendang. So in future one of your Nasi Campur could be chicken rendang . Check it out

Hi Tropicana customers and likers...... Our new weekly special is now available @£12.00 per person for a 2-course meal, they are the popular dishes generally liked by our customers e.g.. Tropicana curry, Nasi goreng and mee goreng plus a couple of milder dishes. So come on down and check it out .👍

6 of us visited on Friday evening, my favourite place to eat in Hull! The food is amazing, love that you can get 3 mini portions for 1 meal. Lovely staff, great prices, will definitely be returning. Thank you! .... recommend the mixed starter for 2 & the beef rendang!

We have been coming to Tropicana since it opened back in the 80's. The food is very authentic and tasty and excellent value. However, this was our first visit in perhaps 10yrs. Last time we came the service was very slow and sadly this hasn't improved. For a meal for two consisting of a starter and main course, two hours is too long. Added to that we ordered banana pancakes (a particular favourite) only to wait around half an hour to be told there were none left. We then asked for coconut pancakes instead to again be told that there were none. Our booking was at 7pm- one of the first of the evening, so pretty disappointing to not have items available. After that we asked for the bill only to wait even longer while the staff disappeared. Sort the service out and it would be great. On another note, please lose the high energy techno music it gets to be a bit much!
