Tros An Treys

Tros an Treys is a Cornish dance group based in Penzance. We perform, teach and promote all forms of Cornish dance.

We wear the colours of the Cornish chough, our logo - black, red and silver, and our name translates as 'clamour of feet'.

Tros an Treys offers Cornish music, dance and song for troyls (ceilidh /barn dance) and nos lowens (literally 'happy night'), with a caller and dance leaders for weddings, events and parties; exciting performance displays, processions; festivals; workshops; weekly classes, choreography and advice.

We also offer workshops and dance clubs for schools, groups, events and festivals

Our regular workshops (£1) are every Sunday at 3pm at Penlee Park Coach House, and are to live music. If you are interested in Cornish dance come along for a free taster session. Beginners welcome! It's a great way to get fit, meet new friends and take part in the vibrant revival of Cornish Culture going on all over the duchy!
