Fantastic little campsite in a ideal location just off the A66. We stayed here for a few nights and were the only people camping in a tent. Mostly caravans and statics. Really quiet during the day and night. Showers are outstanding! Very modern, clean, hot showers. The owners are really nice too. About 20 mins east down the A66 in Penrith there is a Morrisons and a McDonald's which is great for stocking up on food and water and for getting a coffee. Would definitely stay again. Couldn't fault it therefore I give this place 5 stars.

Great scenery, friendly down to earth staff & will look to making a return visit in the future

We have been to Troutbeck 3 times since July and will always return, The Owners Neil & Lyndsay are great. The showers are fantastic and everything is so clean. Would not hesitate to recommend this site. You have Keswick, Penrith, Ullswater, Pooleybridge to visit and plenty more to do in the surrounding area, you certainly wont say you can get bored thats for sure.
