Friendly helpful staff, very reasonable priced and nice tasting food served in bright and clean surroundings.
Excellent truckstop. Meals are home made and are lovely. About half the price of motorway services too.
Good food at a reasonably cheap price. The place is always clean and tidy. The staff are friendly and helpful. A nice place to break up a journey.
To be fair this place is obviously for truckers however to nip off the motorway for a pee its not convenient. While we were in there we decided to grab a packet of crisps and a chocolate bar from the shop. We were stood at the till while a member of staff ignored us for a good few minutes while she had a catch up with a trucker. Another lady appeared and served us. Will tie a knot in it next time.
First time I've stopped here in the truck. I've been passed it loads of times but never ventured in. Well, What a silly boy I've been.
The parking surface is tarmac/concrete and clean. A blessing when it's wet as your boots and cab don't get dirty.
The main entrance leads into a lovely foyer with hotel reception (I slept in my cab). A nicely stocked shop with usual truck accessories, Basic grocery and toiletries.
The restaurant is very nice. Clean, Tidy, Modern and spacious. Foods great, Hot filling working man's food that'll keep you warm and fed.
The toilets and showers (6 minutes timer in shower but included in parking) are clean, modern and the water at a temperature that most can handle.
I would recommend you try here once, I'll be back and I'm sure you will be as well.

I stopped to meet up with family enroute to the Lake District. Toilet stops all round. No issues.
Great customer service. Really enjoyed the food there (breakfast and lunch). Fantastic customer service. They have rooms as well which is ideal for an overnight stay. Anyone with a vehicle (not just trucks!) can go and visit. If you have the chance; highly recommend!
If you need a pit stop on your journey then this is fine. Used by both truckers and cars, there is a separate parking area for cars.
Large eating area with good selection on the menu. Outdoor seating is also available. Prices are reasonable.
Toilet facilities and shop on site. Also petrol forecourt next door.
To access services you need to leave the M6 but it is only a short distance away.
Fabulous place for meetings and events! Great staff, service and food.
Only stopped by for lunch. The food was very good and hot. And the restaurant area was clean and tidy.
It's ok the floors very queaky at the B&B you can eat ppl walking around up about you.
A welcome refuge when you need a quick break. Coffee to go is great value.
