I was born and bred in an idyllic country village not too far from Chester. My family are artistic; both my dad and grandma were skilled painters so from an early age in school, I excelled in Art and graphics. In 1995 at the age of 19, after studying Graphic Design at college in Manchester, I became a junior at a creative consultancy in Old Trafford. It’s here where I was trained to be an Apple Mac artworker, retoucher & graphic designer.

After six years at MKP (now TBWA Manchester), I spent two years at Madhouse Associates, in Manchester and then Acrobat Creative, in Didsbury (now Nic and Carole). My portfolio of work includes blue-chip clients such as Motorola, Toyota, Black and Decker, Whittard of Chelsea, Cath Kidston, Denby Pottery, RBS and T-Mobile.

My journey into wedding photography began in 2012. I had the privilege of working alongside a freelance professional photographer who inspired me to take it a step further and shoot professional wedding shots.

I use a Canon 5D and especially love my 50mm prime lens for those emotive ‘moody’ portraits.

I’ve spent the past ten years working for the UK Charity, AsiaLink. I’m not just a designer & photographer though. My work also involves speaking in churches, video production, globe-trotting and youth ministry. I’ve had the privilege of traveling and working in various places across Asia, including Laos, Vietnam, Nepal, China, India, Thailand and the Maldives.

I’m married with two boys and currently reside in Manchester, UK. I’m a committed Christian and part of the leadership team of an evangelical church.
