For Bruton Christmas Evening on December 12, Truffles Brasserie will be opening to sell a range of items including New and good-as-new gifts, books, coats, wallets, toys and baby gifts. Also, 4oz boxes of Chocolate Truffles as illustrated.

We are pleased to announce that Hambledon's in Wincanton are now representing us, alongside Christie's, to find a suitable buyer for Truffles. There has been an increase in interest in the last few weeks and the restaurant is fully equipped and ready to restart trading in whatever format a new buyer wishes to follow.

The owners are keen to sell Truffles in order to take advantage of the market for Christmas Parties and our usual Christmas Day lunch which is always fully booked. Went for lunch yesterday with a good friend, we had the three course set menu, £12.95 an absolute bargain , the food was well presented tasted great and the service was first class. Good variety of choices on the set menu , will certainly go again. Keep up the good work

We had dinner here last night as a birthday treat and I can honestly say it was the best meal I've ever had. The roast duck was perfectly cooked, the fig jus sauce made with locally grown figs was delicious. The pumpkin pie was melt in the mouth, little touches like the lemon curd and brandy snap on the ginger ice cream made it really special. Obviously attention to detail takes a little longer, so allow plenty of time. A great culinary experience!

We are here last night and the food was lovely really impressed with the food we had the Wednesday offer, the steak was amazing will defo be eating here again x

Stopped for lunch and had the most wonderful meal. Great food in a lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. Very happy that we live locally as we can easily go back!

My son Carney was the Head Chef (The only chef) and we came here for Christmas Day lunch it was a nice family get together while my son cooked our lunch and his partner Poppy waited on us, the restaurant was also open to the public which they did very well on Christmas Day. Unfortunately Carney and Poppy has since left. Carney now works for Strawberry Fields Catering Company in Bath and unfortunately Truffles is up for sale.

Me & my husband went for the Valentine Eve meal and it was delicious in a lovely friendly setting. We highly recommend Truffles if you want that little bit of something special but at a very reasonable price. Excellent

Have been twice now for the Thursday evening simple supper... Amazing value for a quality meal. I really recommend trying the soup for a starter.. As tempting as the ice cream is! Absolutely delicious both times. Thank you truffles!

We have been as a family a couple of times and enjoyed the food and great service. Slightly disappointed at the lack of interest from a waitress when I drew her attention to the stray hair attached to a roast potato on my daughters plate at our Christmas Day meal. She left the bistro hungry as she wasn't keen on risking any more food. Probably won't go back. Shame.
