Tumbles Play Place

With an almost 3 year old and 1 year old, we've been regulars of Tumbles for nearly 2 years and have attended a fair few birthdays there but yesterday was our first experience of having our own party there. We looked at other places but decided that the value for money at Tumbles, which my daughter knows and loves, was well worth it and we weren't disappointed. My daughter wanted a Ben and Holly theme, which wasn't one of the standard choices, but they went out of their way to get the table all set up in that theme. We had 4 veggie and 3 dairy free children, not a problem at all. They even sorted out cutting up the cake and making sure the right children got the dairy free cake. Thank you so much for providing a fun filled time for the kids and a hassle and stress free party experience for us parents.

Went to Tumbles this afternoon as an impromptu ad been let down by a Christmas party and couldn't have asked for better. Father Christmas was very reasonably priced and amazing with my autistic child. Presents were good quality. There was a relaxed festive atmosphere and Minnie and Mickey even come out for a dance. I continue to love this place. Thank you Tumbles.

We we went to tumbles this week as we do every week and even though it was school holidays the service was still as fabulous as ever, super organised, loads of fun! Food fantastic and loads of new lovely coffees for the adults �� win win all round, brilliant place to keep you sane, definitely recommended, well done everyone ��

We held our daughter's 2nd Birthday party at Tumbles - the team were great & really accomodating for the age-range of children we had invited � Lots of time to play, lovely partywear & food, lots of little treats & fab party bags - we would definately recommend!

We are regulars at Tumbles as its just the perfect size for my 2 year old - you are able to keep an eye on your children from the seating area and even the toddler section alone has a lot to offer & entertain my little one. Tumbles offers great food and its meal deal (term time only) is great value for money. The staff always go that extra mile and are always very friendly and helpful - I would definitely recommend X

Visited for the 1st time yesterday and was very impressed. we had a 7 year old & 8 year old and they loved it. very welcoming from the minute we went in. lots of staff to help you and was very impressed that staff were in cleaning the play equipment and cleaning the furniture. 1 child had food allergy's and staff were very helpful with this and were able to answer questions and advise. the food was beautifully presented and was very enjoyable. My son banged his mouth and i requested an ice pack and a member of staff brought it immediately and came over and checked everything was ok. absolutely flawless and would highly recommend

Second time I have brought my 2 yr old to Tumbles and he loves it, he is a very lively toddler who likes to run round so the play are with the bikes and cars is perfect for him. Plenty of space to run round. It is by far the best one in the area, always clean and tidy as well which is important to people like me who have OCD. Would recommend it to anyone. Prices are very reasonable aswell.

My little boy had his 4th birthday party here today and everything about it was amazing! The staff were wonderful and all the children thoroughly enjoyed the morning especially the visit from Spiderman. Everything about the party was executed to perfection; the cleanliness of the place is second to none and everyone loved the party bags which were again of the highest standard. Thank you so much to all the staff for making my little boys day so fantastic. Xxx

My first visit this Sunday , I was very impressed with the equipment, tabled area, food, the party was excellent and the girls faces when "Elsa" appeared was magical, she was really good and very patient with the children playing games, singing etc. the whole thing was very well organized ,big party bags were much better than ones seen elsewhere at other venues. Well done all the staff at Tumbles.

I really like this place. The staff seem happy and the place is spotless when I've been. I don't know how there so tidy 😳 But it's nice. My 1 year old and 7 year old love it to.

Enjoyed a lovely morning with our 3ry old grandson,he absolutely loved it....lots of activities,bikes,slides etc.

Think the admission price £4.50 was a bit steep as other play centres charge less and you get toast, a drink, and a coffee for the adults...

Drove over from Glossop by myself with two young children. One aged 4 and the other 18months and both of them absolutely loved it!



The staff were very helpful which meant I had no bother even being on my own with two of them and an unruly buggy.



So many nice little touches for example the bouncy animals, little chairs and a lollypop on the way out...



It's not as big as some other places but that was what I loved about it as I could see where both children were at any one time! Fab!

Brought my 2 boys for a birthday party this morning! We've never been before but hands down the best party the boys have been to!! Food was great, Spider-Man was great, the party bags are fab!, table set out lovely and all cups, plates, hats etc matched and the play area is great! Would highly recommend!

Brilliant Halloween Party at Tumbles with friendly staff. It was a shame we had to leave half hour early as my daughter still wasn't 100% after her bad cold but she was determined to visit her fave place for this party.

We've visited many times since and have never been disappointed. My little girls 4th birthday was today and her party was held this morning! I can honestly say we've been extremely overwhelmed with the organisation of the centre and the staff. It's always been clean, food is delicious and the party bags are fab!! The professionalism of each of the staff members were second to none, they were kind, polite and went out of their way to help wherever they could. The facilitation of my daughters party was exceptional. My little girl is Star Wars and princess mad and the staff worked hard to make sure it was everything she wanted and more! We even had Elsa AND Chewbacca pay a visit in which all the children were excited about. I can't recommend this place enough, we've all had a gorgeous day! Thank you so very much!x

I come to Tumbles quite often with my 2 year old as it is his favourite play centre however more recently the customer service is poor.



My latest trip ended after a few minutes... I had walked in handed my boys shoes to the lady at the till whom put them in a basket. She stood looking at me for about two minutes then handed me them back and said “there isn’t any tables” no apology, not actually informing me properly that we wouldn’t be able to enter just handing me my sons shoes back. A few minutes later a young lad obviously realised as we stood around waiting for a more in-depth response as to how long the wait was etc approached us and stated that he wouldn’t offer us a table as there was a 40 minute wait.



There staff clearly need to have some training on their customer service skills.



I don’t know if I will be returning as this isn’t the first bad experience of poor customer service we have had over recently weeks.

Disappointed though that whilst children were playing the party food was being put out by the time the children were brought to the table the food had gone cold chips were freezing pizza too and chicken nuggets . Say the least little boy didn't eat it apart from cake they were given ..He was hungry coming home settled for McDonald's on way ...

I've been to Tumbles a few times before and thought it was fine. However, today I have been really annoyed by the attitude of the place. I took a look at the website before we went and saw it said 'Odd socks Friday' where it's £5 for entry and a meal so put odd socks on them both.

Once we got there I was told it was term time only that this applied. It wasn't obvious from the website as it looked like this applied to the meal deal before it so I paid £4.50 each with no food included.



I went to the table to meet my friend and she told me there was another offer on there for £3.50 entry, which I obviously hadn't scrolled down far enough to see. So, I went back to the counter and mentioned I'd missed this offer so could I please have it as I'd only just walked in expecting them to be decent and say 'yeah, sure' as it wouldn't have been that big a deal to them....

Oh no, the girl had to ask someone else who then went off to find 'Aaron'. The girl came back and said "no, you have to mention it on entry". I was pretty stunned and said "Oh ok. Really?! I've literally just walked in. Seriously?" The girl was very abrupt about it and just said "no, sorry".

I think this is a really bad way to treat your customers. Most places would be decent enough to mention the offer if the usual wasn't on and then if the customer noticed it within 3 minutes of walking in they'd just honour it. We spent money on lunch for us all too (which we waited almost an hour a for) so don't think a £2 refund as a small courtesy would have been too much to ask. Massively unimpressed.

Absolutely appalled by the customer service we received today. We're even allowed through the door staff just said fully booked, no point waiting and to leave. Appreciate raining half term but no excuse for rudness. We asked if the children could wait and have a drink but in no uncertaint terms told this would not be possible. If the policy is book a table like a restaurant before you turn up make sure it clearly states on your fb page.
