Our family have passed down generations of Hakkinese and Cantonese cookery since the 1970's from the humble beginnings of The Dingle in Liverpool 8 to the upbeat town of Birkenhead and finally making a break for the Dark Peak of Derbyshire where we are serving two generations of recipes and expertise.

Being the second generation of our original immigration to the UK, where our parents knew no English and the only directions we had to get home was the restaurant spire (now known as Radio City 96. 7 tower) we have honed our heritage to our personal fusion of Wok art to you.

Breaking free from rent and other costly out-taking in 2006 we are fully independent and own our own building, we not simply in it for a quick buck and we plan to operate for as far as the eye can see! !

A lot of so called other take aways in our area are rented and change hands incredibly quickly, come in and ask if the Li family are still operating Tung Fong in ten years time. We can guarantee our lineage is not broken.
