So far we have collectively raised over 8 grand and we want 10 for our Yorkshire 3 peak challenge. No apologies for being on the scrounge as we are raising money for 2 great causes...Macmillan and Cardiac Risk in the Young (#CRY) and one great event..Garstang inaugural Scarecrow Festival in July. We're trekking the 3 peaks of Yorkshire in June (about 25 miles and over 6000ft of ascent (and by virtue descent!)...there's about 50 of us trying to raise as much as possible so please pop some cash or loose change in the box when you are next in. It will be very much appreciated.

Hi everybody...long time no speak! We have thought long and hard about this and from week beginning 2nd October we will be closed on Mondays as me and Sue attempt to realign our work/ life balance. I don't like letting people down but we are currently open well over 50 hours per week and then there is also the out of opening hours prep which we undertake also. We will open exactly as usual for the rest of the week and continue to deliver the finest breakfasts, chippy dinner...s and teas in the area from Tues - Saturday inclusive. Unfortunately we are not Super human and we have to consider what is best going forward. To be clear on Mondays we were open from 7:45am - 13:30pm (as every day) but this will cease from October 2nd. For the rest of the week I would welcome you to try or keep trying our superb breakfast menu, lunchtime menus and tea time menu - and even wash this down with a very reasonably priced cold beer, cider or wine. See you all soon.
