Turtle Bay

Went to Turtle Bay with my wife for the first time. We had a table booked, and the place was very busy. We were made very welcome, food and service was amazing ����

Went there today with my mum, we had the trinny curry and the jerk chicken, sweetcorn fitters, and chocolate pot with rum. Was absolutely delicious and great service and excellent value for money.

Visited Turtle Bay with a largish group for a Birthday gathering. All of the food was perfectly prepared, tasty and hot. All of the staff were super attentive... especially Sophie who went above and beyond to keep the party fed and watered.



Great place for a meal with friends. Would recommend.

Very nice place. Long time we did not have to wait for ordered food. Chicken curry was delicious. We are sure you won't be back again. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We are happy to recommend you this place

Top evening out service on point atmosphere was chilled,not in you face brain melting music. wait for food was faster then expected despite ordering a steak which was spot on cooked to request drinks were great too as a steakhouse manger myself in the past over all I think it was a good time cheers staff for the friendly service and great feed �

Love the cocktails, love the food, nice range of vegan options. Staff are WONDERFUL, and service is always smiley and timely. We are regulars here and now we have the app, will be going even more! Thank you, Turtle Bay team!

Had a lovely meal here tonight, food was brilliant and the service was really good. Mitch our server even brought out a surprise birthday pudding. Would highly recommend

Had a great time at my friends leaving do the other night. That manager Alex was fantastic, the drinks were great, food on point as always, really chilled atmosphere. Would turtle bay again.

Great place to be in. Delicious 241 cocktails, amazing food (I haven't tried goat meat before, and goat curry just blown me away!). Amazing staff. Really enjoyed watching them dealing with a kid at the table next to ours. So kind and patient! No other place in Plymouth has got similar vibe to Turtle Bay. I will be back very soon. Well done guys!

Great cocktails especially when 2-4-1! Food was very yummy, we had calamari and duck starters, 2 of the chicken 1 pot dishes with extra sides and lots of cocktails. Didn't have room for dessert as we were sooo very full but it was lovely! I wanted the shrimp curry but they were out so I will just have to come back � thankyou!

Lovely lunch,Our waitress really knew about the menu and was really friendly and helpful.Great food and Gòat Curry was a happy first for us.

A quiet bank holiday Monday the service was good the staff polite and friendly the food was lovely a slight mistake on our order but nothing to complain about we had a very enjoyable lunch and would go again

Aww after having such good service and food we were very disappointed yesterday Thurs 19th and felt a bit silly. We have been bringing friends family n colleagues from London after hyping up the place. Cold food, overdone dumplings, we had to get our own cutlery clear our table from glasses. our guests waited way too long for their starters and our drinks. Then the cocktails were slush puppies which we couldn't even drink. It was very quiet so I don't understand.

I attended my sisters ruined birthday. Firstly it took 20mins to get served drinks.

Then we sat down half hour after the booking time. It took 30mins for mine and my sons order to be taken. 1hour later the food turned up. By then at least four guests walked out due to the poor service. My sons ribs looked under cooked and luke warm. My meal had the fries missing. The fries never even turned up. The whole group atmosphere was totally ruined. Upset children. Angry parents. Most importantly my sisters birthday ruined. The whole experience ruined.

I’ve now come home from work to find my son ill probably from the undercooked ribs.

What a shame. Premises was lovely.

Everything else dissatisfied me.

Well what can I say but avoid at all costs. From waiting 30 minutes to be seated (after booking in advance), serving staff having to be asked if they would take our order, same serving staff shouting at us about an order as if we were naughty school children, turns out the order was for another table. To extremely slow service, rude manager and mediocre food. Never again turtle bay. The evening was for birthday celebrations which was ruined by your establishment, some guests even leaving from poor service. I would never recommend you and even go to say I would actively discourage friends/family from entering your doors!!!!!!!

Slow service. Slow to deliver meal. Meal was cold. Meal than microwaved hot! Refused to eat the re-reheated food (danger of reheating reheated food...) tried to settle bill but they couldn’t work out who owed what (even though they use a credit card/key service) and finally with frustration my daughter hid herself in her hoodie and wept as I tried to do the honest thing and pay for what we had. Worst service ever and the manager compared themselves to wagamama saying that she has an ex-Wagamama chef and in his old job they microwaved everything! An absolute joke and after my third time at this venue I am certain I won’t be visiting a fourth time.

Really disgusted at the security service, very rude and unprofessional behaviour from one of the security staff.



Went there yesterday night and was mistreated and called out on my looks by another customer (who turns out to be staff there just having some drinks after work I believe).



Tried to make a complain to security about the situation, the security guard was constantly talking over me not letting me say what has happed and telling me I should just leave it. After asking the security to remove the customer from the premises I was told that there is no proof anything has been said, even though about 5 other customers have heard it and confirmed.



Had a chat about what has happened with friends of mine and was being interrupted by the security guard constantly while having a private conversation (we were sitting outside having a cigarette).



The customers friend came and ‘tried to explain the situation’ and the security guard once again started interrupting a PRIVATE conversation and told me that ‘he can’t be fucking bothered listening to the same fucking conversation again and that we should just shut the fuck up’.



This is very unprofessional behaviour, and I believe there should be some sort of disciplinary action taken against him. Security is supposed to make you feel safe and deal with situations like that accordingly.



Other security guard I do not have an issue with he listened and apologies for any inconvenience.
