I was a virgin at Turtle Bay but had a great experience. The food was amazing and happy hour on cocktails made our time more happier. The service was great and great to see the toilets looked and smelt great too. I would recommend it. What you pay is the quality of food you received.

I dont know whay but this seems to be the place where I loose everyone I come here 1st with my friend Rose who happened to be Irish, we tried the smoothies with Veggie Dumplings, never tried a smoothie like it, the best id ever tasted and I love that this is another place Ashley loves coming with his boymates for cocktails I can really see the place turning in to a club in the eve or having a basement one downstairs. The restaurant itself is colourful and a breath of fresh air, check with chargers near the seats, something that you always need xxx

Been a few times before, we were in a bit of a hurry as we had cinema tickets booked, the waitress was very attentive and the food was great as always, also love the 241 cocktails happy hour.

Amazing staff atmosphere was great and food and cocktails where to die for oh and great music just all in all great few hours in turtle bay Colchester u guys rock

Food was fantastic. We were having a great time until told that we had 10 minutes to select dessert and we had to leave! I looked around and the restaurant was not full. If you are only offering the table for a certain length of time Turtle Bay then specify this on booking as I would not have chosen this restaurant if I had known this. Spoiled an otherwise great family meal

Went for a meal last night. Said to the waitress we were in a bit of a rush(we’d booked tickets to see incredibles 2, leaving over an hour to get food). We ordered 3 meals and they took and hour to come. My chicken burger was over fried and the crispiest bits fastest a bit burnt, but at this point I was starving and just ate it. In the rush of trying to get to the cinema to ask if we could get a refund from them I over paid £10! Just wish the restaurant had said there might be a bit of a wait even though it wasn’t very busy.

We went to Turtle Bay on Sunday afternoon, the restaurant itself was I would say empty, probably 4-5 tables including ourselves. We waited ages even to make our order, and the even longer to get our food. It’s important to get yourself served on time, especially when you come with 3 young children that have no patience at all. Then it becomes really frustrating. Food wasn’t great either, no professional service were given (when we asked for cuttlery, they just dropped it on the table). The place itself looks lovely, so hopefully the management will consider bad reviews and improve their standards.

Too spicy for kids gad mayo and stuff on it which we didn’t want loved the cocktails though
