💚Our classes focus on reading each baby’s cues to ensure that babies are active and willing participants in everything that we do in the pool together. This isn’t difficult at all as babies are hard wired to learn. They learn best through observation and imitation – so in other words they love to copy! That’s why we get you to go underwater before every baby underwater swim opportunity and show them you getting your face wet and doing face dips with ‘mummy/daddy ready go’ 💚

💦A great day of swimming today at The National Star College💦 It’s now half term so we have no swimming from Mon 27th May-Tues 4th June. We are back in the pool on Weds 5th! Somebody told her that "self-care" is a buzz word and that it’s "selfish". Well, as you might have guessed that made us pretty mad. In fact, we’ve been thinking about it ever since. What is it that makes people feel like they can judge yo...ur needs? Your parenting? You? True - self-care is a term that’s banded about a lot at the moment. But, surely that’s a great thing? It’s wonderful that people have realised that they deserve to be cared for and that their mental health is important. But, the idea that self-care is selfish is appalling. Does it make you a bad mother because you need to get outside for a walk to feel clear headed? Does it make you a bad partner because you need some time to yourself? Before you were a mother, or a partner, or a boss, or an employee, you were you. You had needs. They don’t go away just because someone else relies on you now.
Make the most of this #selfcaresunday. Do whatever it is that makes you feel whole. And what other people think of you and your self-care needs? Is none of your concern!

Our Turtle Tums classes use adapted yoga practices and gentle exercise to promote flexibility, toning, relaxation and bonding with your unborn baby. You can start the course anytime from 14 weeks of pregnancy. 💚
... So if you are craving some 'me' time, time to relax, time to enjoy your growing bump, time to pause and time to ease those pregnancy aches and pains, then this is the perfect class for you. It's also a fabulous way of meeting other mummies-to-be! 💕💚
The classes are from 5.15pm - 6pm on a Sundays at the National Star College and run for 6 weeks. Course starts on 16th June. The cost of this course is £54. 😊

Last week we asked you to try and guess the most popular child’s name that swims with us! 💚 And the name is......... ⭐️JOSHUA ⭐️ We have 6 Joshua’s swimming with us and again nobody guessed it. Close behind were: William, George, Joseph, Harry & Jack. We have 5 each of these in our classes.
... The girls names seem to be more diverse with names that are similar keep cropping up like Evie, Evelyn, Eva. Isobel, Isabelle & Isabella. The most popular girls names are: Matilda & Ottilie and we have 4 of each of them swimming with us.
